Would have been perfect except for the language barrier
Exactly where I wanted to stay as I’ve lived there before. Apartment was great!!
Here’s where they need to improve:
1-Every email I received was in Japanese. I find it hard to believe that a company as big as this one can’t send emails in English to their English speaking clients. I tried to contact them through VRBO messages and when they never responded, I called and got a phone number. So they should answer those messages too!
2-they would not accept confirmation with my email because it was an AOL account!?! Something about spam and of course it was all in Japanese so I had to screen shot to translate. I had to get a gmail account just to get access to the check in procedure.
There was no one there to check in which would have been fine except the combination for the lock given to me on email was 1211. After traveling for almost 29 hours to not have the lock box open was almost the last straw. I finally called the emergency number and told him I couldn’t open the box and he said….combination is 1212. Can’t believe that got messed up. So needless to say, finally I got in the place.
Once there, it was great! Before I left, I was really unsure I was actually going to have a place to stay and that first night was quite stressful.
