We allow small events such as birthdays, reunions, and micro-weddings for an additional event fee.

Every year we have a celebration for my daughter who just turned 5, with having family and friends flew into town it was hard finding a place to our liking, but this house by far is everyone’s favorite place to stay! Finally found the perfect place to have a celebration or anything! This place was more than perfect, plenty of parking! Great kitchen bc we cooked a storm! Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Groceries and target was 5 min away. Great location. This place will be booked by us every year from now on! Thank you to the host fo making us feel welcome! Thank you thank you. Will be back fo sure!

Hi Linh-I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I didn't get to the house until two days ago. The house is a MESS. There is tape all over the wood beams from decorations. Dozen of purple "dots" all over the main floor. I've picked up more than 10 plastic stick pins left on the floor and it the wood. The floor under the island has some very sticky mess. Carpet has gum or something that I have to have removed. A fire had been lit in the non fire fireplace and set off the smoke detectors which were then disabled. Cigarette butts outside the back porch. Almost all the doors were left unlocked. If I had seen this before the deadline, I would have charged a $300 extra cleaning, but I was too late. Great!

Great place to have family thanksgiving. Plenty of room for all the cooking and food, and a lot of seating for family. Property is large to play games and setup portable disc golf net. Would definitly book again!

Whimsy is worth the stay

We have a large family and this property was perfect. There is a large gathering area that made it easy to socialize during our Christmas vacation. The location is great, with supermarkets nearby and other Atlanta attractions easily accessible. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future.

Whimsy

The furnace did not correctly. The house was cold in the mornings. The owner was responsive in trying to get it to work. There were cockroaches in the kitchen.

The property was beautiful and our stay was amazing! Property owner Rick is very helpful and was always available to help! Rick is an awesome host! Staycation well spent!

Whether it’s dealing with work, parenting kids, planning weddings, etc. we are all at various stages of our lives where finding calendars that sync is near impossible. Finding a property that was relatively close to our homes provided us the flexibility we needed to organize everyone back together. However - after experiencing how grand and private the home was, relishing in all of the gorgeous scenery the land had to offer, and being welcomed by some very personable and salt of the earth hosts - We began to ask ourselves why it took so long for us to give a staycation a shot. Truly a one of a kind home in the most convenient and centralized locations. Will be back for sure.

The property is beautiful. The living space was perfect for our annual cousin get away.

This place has the potential for five stars. However, the home has a cat. I don’t remember being informed of this. The cat lives there. There is a cat door, food and water left for it inside the home. One of my guest has cat hair all over her black pants. The fridge had the owners food in it, the two mini fridges in theater room had owners food left in there. The cabinets space was limited.... owners food and drink items in them. We are a cooking family. We come with groceries. Master bedroom was so huge but it was not fresh enough for my liking. My family loves it!!!!! I booked the unit and my sister was there waiting for me. I did not give out the code yet. I needed to assign rooms. When I got there the owner gave my sister a tour and pointers of the property and she was in her chosen room when I got there. Not a deal breaker but ijs. I would give it another try and add another day especially since it’s local, providing that more effort is put in. To be fair it just seems to need a good spring cleaning.
