This is a great little hotel (the Bulldog) right at the entrance to Silver Star Village. The room was comfortable, the shower was great, and you can get to a very nice adjoining restaurant without going outside.

Old adequate hotel at silver star base

Well the Bulldog is….adequate. Pluses: location close to all things skiing, good shower, internet,fridge and microwave in the lobby. Minuses: old building, not quiet, kinda dingy, over priced for what you get. If you want basic lodging right at the base area, this will do.

Value for Money- No Frills

This accommodation is located right in the village and is essentially ski in/ ski out. The rooms are modest but clean and comfortable. There is an attached restaurant and a hot tub but not much else in the way of amenities. If you are looking for good value for money and an well located place to sleep it is ideal. If you are looking for the big resort feel in terms of amenties and pampering, this probably isn't the property for you.
