Eastwood Lodge is situated conveniently next to footpaths leading to Walberswick and Southwold. It’s located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars.
The lodge is situated in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, a fifteen-minute walk away from the captivating Walberswick town, and its stunning beaches.
The lodge is comprised of five separate units:
On the ground floor, there is the main unit and a smaller unit, with three more units on the first floor, which have a range of set-ups to meet the needs of a variety of guests.
This particular flat is located on the ground floor and is the only fully self-contained unit within the lodge. With one and a half separate bedrooms and one full bathroom, it can sleep up to five people. The main bedroom houses a king, the half bedroom contains a bunkbed and the sofa folds out into a bed.
Despite dating back to the 1900’s, the unit is fully equipped for your modern needs, with a Smart TV and internet, and a kitchen with a four-burner cooker, oven, microwave, toaster and a fridge/freezer.
Firstly, there are communal washing facilities, which consists of a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink. Additionally, the guests are encouraged to enjoy the vast garden which surrounds the lodge and are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge of £10 payable in cash to the housekeeper.
However, please be aware that there is a working farm next-door, which is not part of the lodge, so we kindly ask the guests not to enter this property out of respect for the farmer.
