CUTE MINI-STUDIO IN WALBERSWICK

Eastwood Lodge is conveniently situated next to footpaths leading to Walberswick and Southwold. It’s located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars. The lodge is in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, a fifteen-minute walk away from the captivating Walberswick town, and its stunning beaches.

The lodge is comprised of five separate units:

On the ground floor, there is the main unit and a smaller unit, with three more units on the first floor, which have a range of set-ups to meet the needs of a variety of guests.

This is a small, but newly refurbished studio on the ground floor, which sleeps up to two people, with its own en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. It’s fully equipped, with a television and internet, and the kitchenette includes a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, with all the cutlery and utensils you need.

Firstly, there are communal washing facilities, which consists of a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink. Additionally, the guests are encouraged to enjoy the vast garden which surrounds the lodge and are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge of £10 payable in cash to the housekeeper. However, please be aware that there is a working farm next-door, which is not part of the lodge, so we kindly ask the guests not to enter this property out of respect for the farmer.

Winter escape

Last minute booking for a few nights away. Lovely walk to.southwold across the heath from the property although the quiet country road isnt very quiet !!!! Breakfast was lovely but bathroom was cold apart from that lovely stay

A short stay to allow us to meet up with family, the only thing which we were unhappy with was that they had a very thick duvet on the bed. As the weather was very hot we had been better with just a sheet to cover us. There was only one fan in the hall for all the rooms to use if you got to now a bout it first!,

Accommodation basic but adequate and comfortable enough. In need of redecoration. Wall between bedroom and bathroom signs of needing attention.Clean enough but could be more thorough in the bathroom. Towels rather "tired". Good to have microwave and fridge.Didn't meet host but she replied to queries by text when difficulty in accessing Wi Fi. Another guest who had similar issues helped.

Walking weekend.

Really enjoyed the location as it's great for walking and has a co-op nearby if you need essentials. Quiet location overlooking fields made it really peaceful. Comfortable accommodation with very thoughtful food and drink items supplied.
