About this property
Cave-Life House , 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths
My Family Cave House is great for parents & up to three kids who want to live in a real cave complex with modern comforts.
The master bedroom has a king bed, bedside tables with good reading lights, a small writing desk, dramatic bands of color in the natural rock and nice detail in the stonework.
In the kids’ room, two single antique beds and a cozy bed nook in a mini-cave (which used to be the winepress of the house) are lit by a stone-hole skylight through the curvy cave ceiling. Nooks and crannies carved into the walls display various toys.
The sitting room has easy chairs, end tables, satellite TV , and good lighting. The fully-equipped kitchen is set for meals on those days when you don’t want to visit the restaurants just a short stroll away.
The house has private walled garden terrace where the children can play and the parents need not worry that they'll wander off. Parents can sit out on the terrace beneath sun, shade or stars with something to sip from the full-sized refrigerator.
My stone cave rooms are naturally cool in hot weather, warm in the winter, but individual air-conditioning/heating units are here if you need them.
The house has two spacious modern bathrooms with walk-in showers.
Imagine touring the moonscape of Cappadocia, touring the medieval cave complexes of Göreme and Zelve, then coming home to your own authentic cave villa to relax and recall your adventures

About the host
Hosted by Suha Ersoz

Hi, I am Suha Ersoz, your host! I graduated from a law school but decided to stay in Cappadocia after working in tourism in the area. In 1987, I bought my first house in Urgup, and over the past 25 years, I have bought, renovated, and restored the adjacent 15 other houses with stone and cave rooms. I combined some of these houses to make the first cave hotel in Cappadocia, and renting 7 of them as entire houses through VRBO. I am living closeby and will be available for your needs.
