About this property
Open Concept Furnished, Bright & Charming 3-Bdrm close to Park/Dwntn/University
Lovely, bright and charming century home is going up for rent as our family is moving for the school year. Our home is located on a quiet street with lots of families, 3 minutes from Exhibition Park, just a 5 minute walk to the library and downtown Guelph and 20 minute walk to the University.
We renovated to create an open space for our bright home, which has wood flooring throughout (no carpets). Beautiful master bedroom on main floor has a king size bed, and a wood-burning stove which makes for cozy family fire nights. Two other bedrooms plus a den (office space) as well as the second bathroom are located upstairs.
My partner thought of putting an outdoor shower in our lovely english garden, which can be enjoyed 3/4 seasons. This year we added a vegetable garden in the front to maximize our growing space and pollination. Kids will love this house and our back yard, as well as the proximity to the park which makes it ideal for a family or a visiting professional.
Smart features include touch faucet and Nest thermostat. Comes fully furnished. A/C, water softener, washer/dryer.
Please note we will be using our unfinished basement/storage area for storing our belongings during our stay away.
We want to find a great match here, and be respectful of our lovely neighbours in choosing our guests, serious inquiries only.
Available October 1st 2020 to May/June 2021
$2800 + utilities. Please contact us with any questions via text at 416-303-6910.

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Schiavetti

Hi, I'm Andrew (or Andrea, my given Italian name). Either way, I'm excited to share our home, because it's a space that has treated my family beautifully well, and we've invested lots of sweat and time to always make it better. The community in Guelph is open-minded, positive, and fun. My wife Kirsty and I have an 18 year old and an 8 year old, so we are being tested, constantly. We love our community, and we are making a move to be with my wife's parents who are aging, hence we are renting out our home for the first time since we've owned it (hence, no reviews).
Why they chose this property
Our home is in an ideal location, on a quiet one-way street within 5 minutes from Guelph's nicest park, and downtown. If you're an academic, the UoG is a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes walking distance.
What makes this property unique
Where do we start? I suppose by the reactions of our guests and visitors. Everyone walking into our home comments on how lovely, bright, cozy and beautiful the space feels. Our garden is a delight, and the outdoor shower discreetly placed here is a surprising luxury, making you feel like you're not in a city, but at a cottage. Want a video tour? Contact us please. Don't miss out on the opportunity of creating something great in your life.
