The photos don't do this suite justice as it's far more appealing in person. The property was spotlessly clean with high end amenities. It's extremely private and has easy access to the Trans Canada highway.
We had a wonderful stay at Dead Man’s Grotto—very comfortable and clean. The only (very minor) issue was that our designated parking spot wasn’t always available, so we had to park a few doors down in front of a neighbor’s home.
It was a great little stay for my husband and our dog. We loved all the little trails around for walks with the dog. It was a 5 minute drive on the highway to Canmore, but enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood after a busy day.
This property is in a great location to all the attractions within the Banff region. The property is super clean and convenient in every way. It’s much more akin to a luxury VRBO stay. I highly recommend this spot for your next get away.
The space is spacious and clean! Everything is decorated nicely and plenty of amenities to use during your stay. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen has everything you may need including a blender and coffee machine! Area is quiet and close to trails. Just a 10 minute drive into Canmore. It was a perfect spot to stay!

Thank you Miranda for your kind words! I am glad you enjoyed the space.
Excellent location in relation to the places we wanted to visit.Very nice and comfortable suite that had everything we needed for the week. Nice sitting area in the backyard to have a drink and wind up after a long day of walking and hiking. The view/s of the mountains from the property was striking.Because the suite was in the lower level we had to go down and up stairs to get to the suite. But once in the suite it didn't feel like it was in a lower level of the house. We had our dog with us and he felt at home as well.We will definitely go back given the opportunity.Thanks. This space exceeded our expectations. It is so beautiful, well maintained and had everything and more that you would need to enjoy a vacation. It was our first time travelling with our twin toddlers, and it was incredible to be in such a clean space, with all the comforts of home, the ability to cook a meal and even do laundry. We were so sad to leave, and wish all hosts were as wonderful as this one.
Location is very close to Canmore and Banff. All directions and check-in/check-out were clear and easy to follow. Thank you!
This was an absolutely amazing place! This was our first BnB experience and the bar was set quite high, in our estimation. It was a beautiful space peppered with wonderful little touches throughout. A great little oasis to come to after a day filled with hiking or a lovely little refuge on a rainy day with kids. Being pet friendly was a plus, which was also a big reason why we chose it. We could not recommend this place enough and we very much look forward to coming back someday. Kudos to the people involved in making this place, truly, a home away from home. Thank you!

Modern spacious property
Beautiful place, lots of space and well maintained. We just had a few comments: nothing was communicated about where to park, we found the keypad tricky/ finicky to use. But after 4 times we finally was able to get in. Also, found it strange that we ran into the owner (we believe) in the driveway and she didn’t even say hi or ask us how our stay was going. Also, the place was about 20-30 min from Banff and even further from lake Louise. So you definitely need a car.

I am glad you enjoyed the space and found it comfortable. There is a a double car driveway and and a gravel parking pad in front of the house so I am sorry you had trouble deciding where to park. I was actually not home during your stay so it was probably my teenage daughter you saw in driveway........sorry she didn't ask you how your stay was. Yes, we are that far from any of the major touristy spots and that is clearly stated in our listing description, but also the responsibility of the guest when booking a place to use Google maps to have a clear picture of where you are staying.
My son and I took a 4-day trip to Banff during the second week of June. It was our first trip to Banff. We were so excited to explore the area, and Nicole’s place made our trip even better. Our first words when we walked through the door were, “Wow! This place is amazing!” You have your own parking spot right above the stairs you go down to enter your place. Nicole’s place was clean, extremely comfortable and she includes all the extras that make staying in a VRBO easier. There’s also a beautiful walking trail along the river just 5 minutes out your door. We walked it most evenings. The house is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes outside of Canmore. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Banff. Don’t think twice about it; you’ll love this place! Thank you Nicole!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Clean but there are a lot of check out rules
Nicole’s home was nice, clean, and relatively quiet. The listing is for a separate space that connects to the main home upstairs but you can hear everything from the upstairs shower to walking. We were also not given any information on where to park or where we could find the Wi-Fi information (which was on a sign covered behind a plant). Communication was tough because Nicole sleeps early (we did stay during the week so it’s understandable). The checkout process was baffling though. We had to wash all of our dishes, take out the trash, and start the laundry for sheets despite paying so much for the cleaning fee.
Very nice place to stay! The suite was very clean and well-taken care of. Check-in/out process was very simple and the neighborhood was calm/quiet. Would stay here again!
Perfect accommodation for two of us in Dead Mans Flats.
Apartment is spacious and has everything you need for an extended stay. Close to Canmore, but away from the crowds and traffic. Lovely , safe, and walkable neighborhood. Highly recommended !
