Lovely, serenely located waterfront home on Pittwater's western shore. Accessible only by boat guarantees feeling of escaping the city yet so close to Sydney. Suits 4-10 people however please enquire if you are keen on a couple retreat. Enjoy the beautiful walks in the National park behind the house or simply fish, swim, canoe or bring your own boat to explore Pittwater. Expansive open living areas and terrace with both formal and informal seating to enjoy the sunsets in the evening. Recently renovated with Hampton style decor. With both an indoor and outdoor fire place this makes the ideal get away for summer or winter. Make sure to bring everything with you as you wont want to leave! At the Church Point Marina located 2 minutes across the water is a well appointed shop, casual cafe also located next door to the award winning Pasedena Restuarant. Extensive walks around the waters edge and in the National Park ensure you can explore the best of the Northern Beaches. Water Taxis are available 24/7.

Perfect island getaway for boat lovers

We sailed from Sydney up to this beautiful spot. The house had everything provided that you could possibly need and was beautifully decorated. We had great weather so could sail around visiting beaches along the shore line where only boaters could get to. Pittwater is idyllic, the house is perfect and Natalie could not have been more accommodating. We ate dinner one night at the Waterfront cafe and the food was lovely. Perfect, very special place to visit.

Family birthday stay

We had an absolutely perfect weekend away. The house is extremely comfortable with all the necessities. We had a little boat for outings which was great and enjoyed a wonderful weekend of down time with the family. We will definitely book again. Jane

About the host

Hosted by Natalie

This property has been in the family since the land was purchased in 1956. Emanuel bought the house at that time and famously told the story of trying to prioritise between needing to buy a washing machine or the land at McCarrs Creek - for the same cost. Thankfully he made the right choice and today we offer this home to you to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

The original 1950's weatherboard cottage was modern at the time and comprised the same footprint as the downstairs area of the home. Whilst everything else has been replaced, the internal sandstone feature wall remain from the original house and was sourced from a quarry at Asquith.

What makes this property unique

The home has seen many generations of families come to relax and enjoy the peace of Pittwater, the walks, the environment and of course all manner of activities on the water. We are very pleased to share this tradition with you during your stay. This place has always been a place of happiness and coming together for us and we hope it is for you too.
