This is a great basement suite, fully equipped and with two bedrooms. It was clean, easy to access and I will certainly book it again.

The basement suite itself is located in a very nice area. We were surprised at the condition of the unit when we entered. It needs quite a few repairs. The dishes had chips and there were not enough coffee mugs. There was a weird film on the coffee table and stove top. The oven was cleaned but the cleaner remained inside it and created awful fumes so we were unable to use it. There’s no dishwasher so you need to hand wash everything and trust the handwashing job was done okay from pervious people. In my opinion is wasn’t and we had to wash the cutlery and mugs. The pans were very grimy so we didn’t use them. The element dials have all the information worn off them so you need to guess what temp you are using. Towels are older with some stains. The mattress are con-caved - a big dip in the middle so sleeping was uncomfortable at times. The couch was well worn and has a sagg along the back making a bit challenging to get up and not super uncomfortable. The website photos appear to be over 3 years old. Different bed, different coffee table, different rug & the desk is well worn and needs a refresher. Just about every wall needs chips & cracks filled and a full paint job needs done. The outside area had cigarette butts and garbage. I’m disappointed that I paid as much as did given the state of disrepair. I took over 20 photos but the site only lets me upload 8…

Nice

This place needs to update some kitchen items, the can opener doesn’t work the cups x(3)had broken handles and chips one broken our hand with hot coffee in it, not enough glasses only two glasses which was not enough to accommodate our group of five. Fixing these items makes this a great place to stay.

When we arrived in Saskatoon it was difficult to get hold of the host. We finally got the code and it didn't work. We got in after an hour and a half. The next day, again, the lock wouldn't open the door. We waited 3 hours for the host, plus communicating with VRBO, and finally had to find our own accommodations.-Host was hard to reach-Heat wasn't working properly-Rug in livingroom was filthy and had a terrible smell.-Not enough cups and plates-No hand soap shampoo-No stopper for the sink-No fuel for the barbecue Elizabeth
