Murph's place was everything the description said it is. It was a perfect place for us to relax in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked. We ended up making a contest with our friends to find all the hidden Disney references. Some are easy to spot, but others are more subtle. Thanks for letting us stay here.

We came for my daughter’s WVU graduation and Murph’s Place was perfect. Not only was it a comfortable place to stay in a convenient location, but it was fully supplied to celebrate the day. We had family back after the ceremony for a backyard lunch/bbq and the house/yard and meticulously maintained supplies made everything a breeze. We really got to relax and enjoy our graduate. Also, the owners are great communicators and really thought of everything to make our stay perfect.

One of a kind!!

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay at WVU, especially with the history packed in the house. Joe and Karen take so much pride in their house and when you walk into the house for the first time, you feel so welcomed. Everything was spotless and with the 1,000 labels around the house, you knew where everything was :) The outside fence was perfect for our dogs and they even felt right at home.I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and will stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Murph’s Landing for Decide WVU weekend! From the moment we stepped onto the porch, we could feel the love and history in this beautifully restored home. Joe and Karen have created a warm, clean and welcoming space that honors Murph’s legacy while offering every modern comfort to their visiting guests. Our kids had a blast finding the hidden Disney “Easter eggs" hidden throughout the home, and the house had everything we needed—from clear instructions and thoughtful extras, to streaming apps, fast WiFi, and TVs in every room. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pugs, and we loved winding down on the front porch swing each evening. The location is ideal—just minutes from the stadium, Coliseum, campus, and great dining options at Suncrest Town Center. Joe and Karen’s kindness and personalized hospitality made our trip extra special - we can’t wait to return again in the future! We HIGHLY recommend Murph’s Landing!

Perfect home for WVU visit

We were in Morgantown to tour WVU and attend a football game. They have thought of absolutely everything in this house. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need - it’s as if you are at your own home. Everything is labeled - all light switches, cabinets, drawers. The house is very welcoming for our dogs as well. The fenced backyard is great! It’s a short walk to the stadium and an easy drive to restaurants. We will definitely stay here anytime we come to Morgantown.

Amazing trip to Morgantown

This was our first trip to Morgantown and it was for my daughter to attend Decide WVU with myself and my oldest daughter along with her. Needless to say it is a YES! When I say that this place is the MOST PERFECT place you could book for your stay, that is probably an understatement. Every single thing you could possibly want is provided in the house as well as providing a place that truly feels like home with love and care shown everywhere. It is extremely clean and very comfortable with perfect beds and cloud like pillows. I am booking our second trip as we speak and cannot wait to come back and stay again in Murphs Landing.

Great cozy home on campus. Everything about it is themed around WVU and athletics. Well equipped and the owners are in regular contact to ensure you have everything you need. It’s a close walk to the football stadium and short drive up the road to Kroger. Highly recommend
