Where will I be?
Treetops is located at the southern end of Vincentia in a lovely bush reserve setting. The house is an easy 10 minute bush walk to Blenheim Beach or a 15 minute walk to Greenfield Beach. The local towns of Huskisson and Hyams Beach are a short drive away, as is Booderee National Park. From Greenfield Beach you can also take the easy White Sands bush walk with breathtaking views across to Point Perpendicular leading you to Australia’s famous whitest sand at Hyams Beach.
Why choose Treetops?
After a short walk to any one of the beautiful nearby beaches, and a refreshing swim, sit back and relax on the large rear deck. Enjoy the outlook over the garden and nature reserve; you may even receive a visit from some local wildlife! There are many walks and beaches to explore from Treetops, a sanctuary in the trees.
How is the property laid out?
When you enter Treetops you will find yourself on the top floor. On this floor you will find two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. There is also a bathroom with a shower and a bath. A very well equipped open-plan kitchen, living and dining area open onto the large deck. Downstairs is a second lounge room, bedroom with a queen bed and combined laundry and bathroom.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property offers complimentary NBN WiFi and a smart tv with Google Chromecast. There is also a DVD player.
Whilst the WiFi service is generally reliable, it cannot be guaranteed 100% and no compensation will be paid for disruption to the service. If WiFi is essential during your stay, please make sure that you have your own device as an alternative.
What about outdoors?
The large, fully secure rear yard backs onto a lovely green and bushy nature reserve. Enjoy your meals on the wrap-around deck, or relax on one of the sun lounges downstairs.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Treetops has ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms and main living area to keep you cool in the summer. The windows and doors also have fly screens to allow you to catch the breeze. In the winter there is a slow combustion wood fire in the sundrenched upstairs living area, and a panel heater in the downstairs living. Warm winter doonas and electric blankets are also supplied to keep you warm at night in the cooler months.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Treetops. Please remember to bring your own beach towels however!
Parking for cars?
There is parking for 1-2 cars at the bottom of the drive as well as street parking.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes! Pets are welcome at Treetops subject to the following rules;
As we do have many non-dog owning guests, we request for their comfort that dogs arrive free of fleas and freshly groomed / bathed to ensure there are no lingering odours. Please dry your dog in the entrance hall outside before letting him/her into the house. Please bring your dog’s basket, bedding and feeding bowls. Dogs are not allowed on lounges, and we ask that you keep them out of the bedrooms. Please clean up any excessive dog hair before you leave. If extra cleaning is required due to your dog, a deduction may be made from your bond. Barking causes disturbance to all our immediate neighbours. If your dog barks a lot, please leave him/her at home. Nelson Beach, an easy 15 minute walk, is the nearest dog-friendly beach.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
