Great communication with the hosts, very friendly and responsive. Lovely older home near the town center. Recent upgrades (kitchen cabinets, carpet, etc) are nice. Easy parking, quiet neighborhood.
Nice central place to stay for the lakes and Mount Cook. And if you ever wanted to feel like an astronaut just lay on the deck on a clear night. Or sit in the garden….. bring a telescope :-) Everything was clean and neat . Comfy beds .
Very comfortable & warm. A little tired & could use a spring clean but otherwise a good holiday bach with a lot of essentials provided which is much appreciated.

Great communication, easy checkin, handy to everything
The house is minutes from the grocery store and close enough for our family to do day trips to Mt. Cook/Aoraki, Lake Pukaki, and the surrounding area. We loved sitting on the deck at night star gazing. Great place to unwind and relax if the weather is terrible. One morning it was chilly so we lit a fire in the stove in the living room. Loved it!

Not as advertised
The photos of the property were apparently staged with rented furnishings. The actual furniture was shabby, the bathroom floor dirty, the carpets dirty, the lights had no ceiling fixtures. As a “bach” for a lower price and with honest representation it would have been acceptable, but as a rental for top dollar and misrepresented it was disappointing. We never looked forward to returning to the cottage after a day of exploring the beautiful area. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the area restaurants were good. Renter beware.
Cottage was a really good size in a quiet street close to main highway and tourist attractions. Garden was great for our two small dogs to run around. We'd happily have stayed longer if we'd had the time
Great wee property, good fencing for the dog. Plenty of heating options for those sub zero nights. The hosts were great to deal with. Would stay again.
