Great location, perfect ski out to the lifts and back in (have to cross the road for each, but its easy). Can walk comfortably down to the base lodge and pub. Kitchen has everything you need. 3 bedrooms gave us the perfect space for our family of 6. This is an older unit that needs some updating but it has everything you need for a comfortable ski vacation.

It's hard to give this a fair star rating. The location is perfect and it accepts dogs which was key. Also your staff was/is extremely helpful and responsive. The issue is the chalet. This is my second year in a row renting it and it could use with an upgrade in the living room furniture and some light switches are broken, lower bathroom fan intermittent and so on. Just little bothersome/annoying things (except for the living room furniture).
I would recommend you all for sure. I would like to rent #59 again, but for the price the quality is not quite there. Make sense?

Convenient but dingy
This condo is very convenient - on mountain, ski to the lift (though crossing a road). Overall, I would say it was fine and got the job done….but it's pretty dingy and lacking in any kind of ambiance/decor. The basement bathroom fan is broken so sounds like a helicopter. The sofas and chairs are threadbare. The condo sleeps 7, but only has chairs for 6 at the dining table. The kitchen was lacking in some basic cooking items that would make it way easier to cook - oven mitts, sugar, kitchen scissors, olive oil. Overall, we enjoyed our trip - but I think next time we will rent a different condo.

Solid spot, could use some updates and maintenance
Overall the unit worked really well for our family of five. Plenty of sleeping space and the condo is located relatively close to the lodge. Some nice touches too: A record player with lots of albums, a basket of toys for the dog, and books with local history. Some things that weren't so great: A bunch of electrical issues (broken bathroom fan, switches that do nothing, and the dining room chandelier didn't work), a sign in the kitchen: "Please do not plug in or unplug anything in this kitchen" (Huh?), and some tired-- albeit comfortable-- couches and chairs. It was a little disappointing too that "ski in/ski out" required a little more work than you might think-- both coming and going you have to cross a street to get where you're going, so don't mistake it for true slopeside.
As always, Morton and Furbish was tremendous with their service leading up to, during and after our stay so I highly recommend using them to book.
On balance we had a great stay, but if you're comparing similar units, you may be able to find one with fewer issues and a bit easier access to the trails.

Thanks so much for the last minute move up to Rock Pond. The place was fine, if a bit run down and dated. While I understand that it is a pet friendly rental (I might have brought my dog if I knew), the place had a definite funky smell that could be traced to the couch and chairs. Not a complaint, just an observation. The furniture could DEFINITELY use an update. The couch cushions are quite horribly worn and the chairs are stained. The kitchen was fine, and while I don't expect a full spice rack, salt and pepper would have been nice . It didn't look like the deck was shoveled one time this winter. A cold beer out there on that beautiful afternoon would have been a plus. All in all, it was a decent place, but I probably would request a different unit in the future.

The location is wonderful…after that it goes downhill
The condo is so sadly outdated. The downstairs also has mold…you can smell it when you get there. The heating unit in the master bedroom still looks like it is being installed.
Good news…in 2 more years the TV downstairs will qualify as an antique …maybe they can sell it and out more than $1.50 into this unit.
I really like your company. I think you do a good job responding and sending helpful information. It is sad you are associated with a unit like this.
PS. We love Saddleback. Snow was fair but ownership and staff are wonderful and that made it seem all good. We are at the Rangeley Inn. What a charming place…food good.
So, hopefully you get more snow. We hope to be there again…just not in that unit.

Property in need of updating. Incomplete repair work in fireplace wall. Kitchen needs more dinner plates, and shower knob falls off. Great location.

Clean and cozy
We loved our stay, ski in and out is easy. Very clean and cozy. Well maintained. Beds a bit firm for us, but might be great for others. We'd definitely return.
