GRANDVILLE AT LAKE LURE has everything you can possibly want in a vacation rental. This tri level, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2000sf home with fireplace and seasonal lake view is located in Rumbling Bald Resort and comes with all the resort amenities listed below. NOTE: This is not a lakefront home, but a resort home with a winter lake view. It does have use of a community beach just a two minute drive away.

HOT TUB NOTE: This listing indicates a hot tub. NOTE the Hot Tub is a COMMUNITY AMENITY and is not located at the home.

The MAIN LEVEL features an open inviting floor plan with soaring vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and lots of natural light from the dual sliding glass doors and skylights. The layout is unique, and ideal for small groups or extended family because it offers separate gathering areas that are still connected. The main Living Room has a sofa and two comfortable side chairs, coffee table, and large wall mounted flat screen TV. You can also watch television from the high-top table with four chairs, or even from the kitchen.

The kitchen features a wrap around counter with plenty of room for meal preparation. There is a large open counter that also doubles as a breakfast bar for overflow dining or just casual conversation with your Chef. It is well equipped with refrigerator, electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher DRIP AND KEURIG COFFEE MAKERS, toaster, blender, and plenty of cookware, dinnerware, and utensils.

Down one stair from the main living room and kitchen area is a family room with stone wood burning fireplace. Watch the flat screen TV and enjoy the fire from the sofa or two comfortable armchairs. This room also has ample natural light thru the third set of sliding glass doors to the deck. In the same large room is a formal dining area with a long table that easily seats 10 people. Imagine the fun playing games or planning the next day's activities. Serving meals is easy, as there is a pass thru window from the kitchen to the dining room table. Even the gas barbeque on the deck is only steps away from the kitchen or any of the dining areas. You can access the full-length deck with table and plenty of chairs from the living room, or family room. Beside the formal dining table is a door that leads to a rear covered patio with more chairs. Like we said, there are so many areas to gather and entertain.

Everybody wants a main floor Master Bedroom, and this home has it! It features a king size bed, two nightstands with reading lights, armoire with television, and side chair for easy dressing. Enjoy a private bathroom with dual vanities, dual mirrors, and a tub and shower. The unique design of the master bathroom allows a section to be closed off to use as a guest bathroom off the family room.

That's just the main level; now let's go upstairs. Here you will find an open loft walkway overlooking the living room leading to two bedrooms and a guest bathroom. The first Guest Room has a queen bed, nightstand with reading light, dresser with TV, and sliding glass doors that lead to a private deck. No other rooms have access to this guest room deck. The second Guest Room has two twin beds, a nightstand with reading light, and dresser with TV. The two upstairs bedrooms share a Guest Bath with walk in shower.

But wait, there's more! The lower level Bunk Room at the bottom of the spiral staircase will definitely be a big hit. There are four twin beds and a wall mounted TV. There is even a door leading outside, so everybody doesn't need to come in and out upstairs. There is a bathroom downstairs too, with a walk-in shower. That means there are bathrooms and showers on all three levels. And there is a laundry room downstairs with full size washer and dryer.

This home is located in Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure, and renters get to enjoy all the amenities of the Resort. Amenities include restaurants, sports bar, beach, tennis courts, pickle ball, indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, volleyball, golf, mini golf, spa, salon, fitness center, and so much more!

Lake Lure Beach is just 5 minutes away, complete with water slides and a splash pad! The main Town of Lake Lure marina offers boat rentals, daily tours, and dinner cruises. River tubing, zip-lining, gem-mining, horseback riding and rock climbing are all within a short distance of the house. The area also boasts 2 beautiful golf courses for those looking to venture out onto the green. Hike Chimney Rock State Park for a breathtaking view. Or explore the charming little town of Chimney Rock with riverfront breweries, Burntshirt Bistro and tasting room, only 15 minutes away.

For any grocery needs, Ingles Market is a large fully stocked grocery store with deli, bakery, wine, and beer, along with a Starbucks and Pharmacy. The towns of Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Black Mountain, and Asheville (The Biltmore Estate) are between 45 minutes to an hour's drive depending on traffic. Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) offering world class equestrian events throughout the year is a short 20-minute drive. the Towns of Columbus and Tryon are also a short drive away.

NC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS

First, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 8 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.

DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. There is parking for 2 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind.

ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. You will be emailed check-in instructions 24 hours prior to arrival provided you have signed your electronic rental agreement and sent in a copy of your photo ID and vehicle information. If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50.

TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste and trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity. The town of Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald Resort do not provide daily trash removal. Please take your household trash to the main gate of the resort at 112 Mountains Blvd., Lake Lure, NC 28746. You will need to let the gate staff know the address of your property you are staying at. You may also take your trash to the Bills Creek Convenience Center, 2130 Bills Creek Rd, Lake Lure, NC 28746.

MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.

NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.

FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.

LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.

FISHING: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply.

BOATING: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.

PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.

NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.

NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.

UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.

SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. We monitor for non-reported pets, over occupancy and number of vehicles.

PETS/ANIMALS: PETS/ANIMALS are NOT ALLOWED in this home. If you are found to be in violation of this rule you will be required to vacate the property and forfeit the remainder of your stay. You will also be assessed a fine of $500 for the violation. No refunds will be given!

RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Failure to sign rental agreement with-in 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake Lure® Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.

Please read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental.

ALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:

Including, but not limited to: bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 washcloths per Guest, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, new sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.

Extra folding chairs, beach towels, shampoos/ body soaps, hair dryers, basic cooking condiments, tin foil, plastic wrap, food storage containers, coffee, board games, fishing poles & tackle, floats, life preservers for toddlers/infants, golf clubs.

*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. For more information about the annual lake drawdown, please contact the Town of Lake Lure.

Home away from home
This house was great for our wedding weekend stay! It was clean and inviting. Communicating with the property manager was very easy and they were extremely responsive. The location is within the gates of Rumbling Bald, so it was very convenient. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to feel at home while on vacation!
