The first thing you will say on check in is "WOW THAT VIEW IS AMAZING!"

49 On Airlie is a beautiful four bedroom holiday home situated in one of the best locations in Airlie Beach. Being walking distance and just a short stroll to the main street of Airlie Beach you could leave your car in the garage for your entire stay. You will love the uninterrupted views of the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands beyond especially from your sparkling private pool.

Sleeping up to 8 guests, this spacious three storey home is perfect for families or small groups looking to escape to the Whitsundays for ultimate tranquillity. With 3 living spaces on every level there is plenty of room to spread out or come together to socialise.

The Space

This fully refurbished property makes a big statement with its brilliant exterior set against the bright blue Coral Sea glistening at it's front door. Enter through the double iron gated doors that take you straight into the top floor of this amazing property.

First floor consists of a large office/family room and 2 double bedrooms with spectacular water views from both bedrooms. This level also has a bathroom with twin sinks.

Second Floor - As soon as you make your way down the timber staircase this is where you get to see the stand-out feature of this property, Its Views!! This light-filled and clean white space emanates beach-style living which is just what you want to help you shut off from the world and have a relaxing stay. Towards the left of the dining area is the third bedroom with 2 single beds this bedroom also has access on to the large wrap-a-round balcony. The well-equipped kitchen features an oven/cooktop, dishwasher, coffee machine and plenty of storage and bench space. Just perfect for large family meals. The lounge area seamlessly integrates with the dining area and all the furniture is designed with comfort in mind. Large glass doorways lead out onto a massive balcony with stunning views over Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands beyond. This is a fantastic area to enjoy a BBQ with alfresco dining and drinks with great company. This level also has a second bathroom and a fully equipped laundry.

Third floor consist of a self contained unit that includes 1 double bedroom with a queen bed, lounge room with smart TV, kitchenette, bathroom and not forgetting large sparkling swimming pool.

Please note our properties are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundries. Linen & bath/pool towels are supplied with beds made up, along with a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, milk, and detergents, etc (to get you through your first night).

Overall okay but outdated photos of the property
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We feel the property is a lot more dated than it is displayed in the photos and does not represent the current conditions of the property. Carpet and rugs were quite dirty and the vacuum performed poorly. There were heaps of ants and bugs. Kitchen was not spotlessly cleaned. There were also no cleaning products for guests (cloths, sprays etc) thankfully we had tours booked and did not spend a lot of time at the property so it wasn’t a massive issue but it definitely needs a refresh.

On a clear day.......
The property is very well situated - a short 5 minute walk and you are in the middle of town - shops, cafes, pubs etc. Great for those who don't like to walk too far! The house is well set up, would recommend bedrooms at top or bottom (pool) level. Bedroom on middle floor is shared with kitchen, living space. The views are amazing and we loved the breeze on the balcony. Beware the road noise - literally sitting on top of the main and only road access - trucks coming down the hill with engine brakes squealing at 5 am was not ideal. We had a minor issue with one of the beds and the property manager was very quick to respond. A big plus was having access to twin carports. We would definitely come back.

The view is amazing the only good thing
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views are stunning. The location however is facing a MAIN road and while sitting on the verandah you are overwhelmed with the road traffic noise. There are a lot of stairs and the bathroom on the ground floor is lovely but outside, which was not so nice in the middle of the night. Lacking in general provisions. Old tea bags and a tiny carton of milk. Nothing to get you through the first evening upon arrival. No little touches that you would expect from a property with this price tag. We arrived early and requested that we leave our luggage in the garage, the cleaning staff were so rude and clearly upset that this had been agreed. The property could do with an update as it is quite dated especially in the upstairs bathroom. I would not recommend spending this kind of money on a property for older people, anyone who wants heating as there is none and those who have had the luxury of rentals that provide so much more for their guests. There were better places that I wished we had booked. Over priced for what you get.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the house was amazing, the location was close to the town centre (a short walk), had amazing views and everything you could need in the house e.g. tv, netflix, swimming pool, great kitchen facilities, toilets on every floor (very handy). If you struggle with stairs you may find the house difficult as there are three levels, entrance is on the top/3rd level, with the kitchen, meals area and lounge all on the middle level. The walk from the town centre back to the house can be a challenge going up the hill to the house for those with limited capabilities. Property management were very helpful and accommodating, they allowed us an early check-in (after we had originally agreed to the standard check-in time)
