Not a clean experience

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

I would've loved to have walked into to an apartment I didn't have to clean myself. On arrival the floors and carpets had not been vacuumed. There was sand on the floors as we entered,hair balled up on the floor in the kitchen and biscuit crumbs near the dining table.I had to clean the oven door to see through it and I don't think the oven has been cleaned in a long time. The cooktop had to be cleaned before use as there was caked on burnt stuff. The coffee pod machine was stuck to the bench, later finding out the milk frother must have over flowed and the milk had dried under the machine making it stick to the bench. Cleaned this to use the coffee machine and the smell was terrible, hadnt been cleaned for a whilThe window sills in the main bedroom had mould and dirt in the tracks, when we went to open the blinds it went everywhere. The outside table had been half wiped and the wipe marks showed the cleaner had cleaned around bird droppings instead of cleaning it off the table.We definitely left the place in a better condition than we found it in. The other 2 bedrooms definitely need aircons in them as it did get hot a few nights and our daughter was having difficulty sleeping with the warm nights. I would suggest putting a queen bed in one of the other rooms instead of single beds as the single is too small for an adult. We could hear the people in the apartment above us walking around early in the morning with kids(5am) and kids playing soccer at night (10pm), but parents were very apologetic and accommodating when we let them know how much noise was travelling through the floor.For the amount of money we paid to stay for a week I shouldn't have had to clean the apartment before we could use it comfortably. If it wasn't for the cleaning everything else would have been lovely.Other than having to clean the apartment on arrival it was in a great area and the setting was beautiful and the rest of the resort
