Discover this delightful cottage, perfect for couples or small families seeking a beachside retreat. Nestled in the serene Retreat community within Barefoot Resort, this unique rental is the only one of its kind. Enjoy the tranquility of this quiet neighborhood, conveniently located near all the area's attractions. The Retreat is one of Barefoot's newest communities, offering modern conveniences and a peaceful ambiance. Plus, Barefoot Resort boasts four championship golf courses and scenic paths ideal for walks and bike rides. Relax on the front porch and soak in the coastal ambiance.

Inside, the kitchen boasts elegant granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, fully stocked for gourmet meal preparation. You'll find both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot for your convenience. A full-sized washer/dryer tucked away in a kitchen closet makes laundry a breeze. The spacious living room features comfortable seating, including a convertible couch, and a brand-new 65" Roku Smart TV for your entertainment. In fact, all TVs in the cottage have been upgraded to Roku Smart TVs for the 2023 season.

The primary bedroom offers a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a larger Roku Smart TV. Additionally, it boasts a walk-in closet, providing ample space for your luggage. The second bedroom features a queen bed, its own TV, and easy access to another full bathroom in the hallway. Ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms enhance your comfort.

The community features a pool area for your enjoyment, and you also have access to the North Tower pool, the largest in South Carolina. During the summer months, take advantage of the free shuttle service, running hourly and dropping you off at the beach access. A schedule will be provided in your paperwork.

Barefoot Resort is ideally situated near numerous attractions and activities. Barefoot Landing, just across the bridge, offers a plethora of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options, including the Alabama Theater, Duplin Winery, and Lulu's. These are just a few of the many exciting destinations awaiting your visit.

Please note that all guests must be 25 or older to book and stay, with a responsible adult over the age of 25 required to be present at all times. This property is strictly non-smoking, and pets and motorcycles are not allowed. A three-night minimum stay is required in the off-season.

The property is in new condition with everything you could ask for. The two issues that I am uncomfortable with: the guest BR has the most uncomfortable mattress and secondly there is no local TV stations available and all TV's are very difficult to navigate.

Reviewer Comments: Came down to Myrtle for a short mid-week get away to play a couple rounds with my brother. booked through one of the golf masters and had a wonderful time at this seemingly brand new bungalow. Every thing in the place was very clean and suited out purposes perfectly. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet even during bike week, as we found out when we got there. Check in was a breeze and the location was great. would definitely stay here again.

Feel like the check in process could be more streamlined, as having to stop and get a packet and sign *another* piece of paper before getting the door code is tedious. The only real issue was that for a 7 night stay, i was left with a 2/3 roll of TP in one bathroom, and a half in another. At least leave two full rolls 🤣

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was fine, the condo is very nice. I wouldn't stay there again due to the TV and not having access to live TV. I don't have access to ROKU, etc... and just want regular cable Live TV. For the amount being charged, they need to have cable TV installed. I have been an owner of homes in The Havens, Harbourcove and Edgewater and it doesn't cost that much per month to have regular TV channels installed per month. It was truly nonsense trying to work the TVs.

The furnishings were modern and comfortable, the location is perfect for those that prefer a quiet area in North Myrtle Beach and it's very close to Barefoot Landing. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the television in the master bedroom, it is VERY small, sort of like a computer monitor, and was extremely difficult to see, especially when in the bed. I would definitely stay here again though, it was very clean and cozy.

Okay beach trip

Reviewer Comments: The property was as expected. nice and very clean.A couple things could have been provided which were not. detailed instructions on how to operate the TV would have been nice. Even though mention was made of 2 coffee pots in the kitchen there were no supplies whatsoever. Therefore they were useless until we went to grocery store to get coffee and sweetner. Bathroom supplies was very limited other than a tiny bar of soap and small shampoo. No supplies for clothes washer. Therefore if anyone is planning to rent this unit be sure and take some supplies.
