In the words of my teenage sons who stayed in this place with us, this condo is “elite.” The pictures are beautiful but cannot do this place justice. Again, in the words of my sons, “this unit is a vibe.” The decor is gorgeous and definitely feels elevated. The beds are so comfortable, and every square inch of the place was immaculately clean. The kitchen is well-stocked and appliances are really nice. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee. The light switches are labeled, everything is easy to find, and the welcome binder has loads of great resources. This gorgeous unit exceeded our expectations. Lovely host and fantastic communication. This place is exceptional!

What a joy to read this! We're thrilled the decor, comfort, and cleanliness lived up to the “elite” reputation your sons gave it, and that the kitchen, balcony, and welcome binder all added to the experience. Knowing you had great communication throughout your stay means a lot. Really enjoyed communicating with you and look forward to your return. We love elite, exceptional & vibe! Thank you for such a wonderful review!

Amazing stay, beautiful property

This is a beautiful property with so many amenities. The owners have thought of everything that you would need. For the cooks, there is a fully stocked spice rack. I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this is truly the best. The whole family had a blast. We were in town for Labor Day and enjoyed a luau and fireworks. We will definitely be back.

My granddaughter and I traveled to Lake Lure for a quick girls trip. This condo was amazing! Well-decorated, clean and quiet! It made for a very relaxing getaway! The amenities were an added bonus! We loved swimming at the pools! It was also very close to restaurants! I would highly recommend renting from Joy if you are looking for a great getaway! I will definitely put this one on my list of ones to rent again! I can't say enough great things about the condo and the host!

Wonderful condo at Rumbling Bald!

Wonderful stay at this condo! This condo was the most well stocked home we have ever stayed in. They thought of everything in the kitchen, bathrooms, extra beach towels and beach chairs. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful view of the golf course on the balcony! Rumbling Bald was a nice resort with fun amenities. About a 29 min drive to Chimney Rock area of restaurants and shops. We would absolutely rent again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Lake Lure Vaca

Enjoyed our stay, everything in the Condo was as advertised. Because it was stated " the pool is across the way" I sent two 14 year olds outside to find it!!! I had to go pick them up because across the way meant you had to drive there!!!

From the owner: Thank you so much for staying with us. Sorrythat it wasn’t clear that the indoor pool & lazy River are at the resort entrance 5 min down the road. There is an outdoor pool across the golf course. The resort is quite large and we try to communicate where things are w/maps. We have found we like being away entrance as it’s so much quieter. If you come back, please reach out to me. Thanks! Joy

Spring Break Getaway

My husband and I travelled to Lake Lure for my Spring Break. I have rented this condo before and it is the absolute best! Joy is so helpful if you need anything! She made sure she sent an itinerary of the resort offerings for the solar eclipse. The condo is well decorated and has everything you could possibly need to make it a relaxing stay! It is in a quiet location too! You have access to all the resort amenities! The beds are very comfortable! This condo will definitely stay on my list for future trips! I would highly recommend this one if you want to have a wonderful getaway!

Great long mini-vacation with old friends

We decided to do a 5 day golf/hiking/shopping weekend with friends who moved a few years ago. This property was outstanding in every way. Location, access to golf, Chimney Mountain a few miles away, Asheville an easy hour drive, and the house itself was everything the ad says and more. We’ve had a couple of “marginal” Air-bnb experiences but this renewed our faith. They have thought of everything and the check-in and communications was first class. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home!

Perfect Stay

This was our first time to Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald. So glad I choose this property instead of a stand alone cabin that I was considering. The Condo was fantastic, two bedrooms with sofa bed in the common area provided more that ample room for the three of us. The single car garage provided ideal staging area for stuff that I wanted to take out of my car but did not need in the condo. We enjoyed the pools, lake front beach, on property restaurant, and boat tour of Lake Lure. Side excursion to Chimney Rock also well worth it. The condo is on the golf course with less than five minute drive to the Rumbling Bald beach on Lake Lure. Highly recommend.

Lots of beauty and comfort!

My husband rented this place for our anniversary weekend getaway. The condo was absolutely beautiful! Everything was so nice and clean. They pay so much attention to detail for the guest's comfort. There was everything you could possibly need for your stay. And the guest book (which I'm sorry that we forgot to sign) had so much good information about the area and what there is to offer. The outside patio was our favorite!! The lounging recliners was so nice with the light rain and sounds of the babbling brook below was the recipe for a great nap! In fact; we have now purchased those chairs ;) Nothing that I would change! Again, we absolutely loved it and will book it again for a fall golf trip.

Perfect mountain getaway

Joy was a delight to work with. She was always quick to communicate and answer questions/make recommendations. The condo is lovely and beautifully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and that is much appreciated because usually rentals are not. Joy has meticulously labeled everything in the kitchen (don’t worry about buying spices - there are plenty!) and you have everything you could possibly need. There are personal touches everywhere and it’s clear they care about their guest’s comfort. The only recommendation I would not heed is eating at Legends by the resort lake entrance. It was our worst dining experience by far. Lured down by the public beach was consistently the best food we ate out. Don’t hesitate to rent this condo - it was perfect for our family vacation!

Joy's home is fabulous!

It's by far the best rental my husband and I have stayed in! It's impeccably clean with zero signs of wear and tear. The home is very organized. There are labels for the various types of dishes and glasses in the kitchen cabinets! The decor is perfect for the home. On top of all this, it's incredibly comfortable!
