This antique fisherman house, built on three levels above ground, offers an exceptional view on the sea and the Cap d’Antibes. It has been completely renovated, combining traditional materials like hand-made terracotta floors, and complete modern amenities, like air conditioning, sound-insulated windows, towel-heaters, fully equipped kitchen and all TV, HI-FI, WIFI internet equipment. Each level includes : Ground floor : entrance, salon/guest bedroom, with two twin beds or one queen size bed. Lower floor : one bedroom with two twin beds or one queen-size, bathroom with tub/shower and WC First floor : One bedroom with queen-size bed (can be separated into two twins), one bedroom with two beds, one bathroom with tub/shower and WC Second floor : bedroom/dining room with a double-bed sofa, bathroom with shower WC, Fully equiped kitchen. Third floor : Living room opening directly on terrace, offering sea view on two sides The vertical distribution with central staircase, one room facing the sea and one facing the street garden maximizes privacy and offers great views from each room.
Location: Location : No car is needed. as the house is within a 5 minutes walk to the market, shops, restaurants, harbour, beach, and within 15 minutes to shuttle trains providing quick access to most Riviera cities : Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Ventimiglia. Juan-les-Pins, at only 1,5 km, is a lively modern resort town with sand beaches, restaurants, shops, casino, night-clubs , famous Jazz festival in mid-July.
Parking: The pedestrian old town is usually inaccessible by car. The house has the advantage of allowing short time parking at 20meters to unload luggage or shopping. Permanent parking is possible at the harbour private parking, 300 meters away, at the cost of € 70 a week. It should be booked in advance during peak summer season.

We had a great time. There was an unprecedented heat wave during our stay, so we would go out in the morning. And go to the nearby beach in the afternoon. The market, boulangeries and the entire Old Town are within an easy walk. We ate at the restaurants next to the market several times. I would caution that if you have mobility issues, this apartment is on 5 floors with lots of stairs.
Best street and house in Antibes. We had 9 people staying and had lots of room and privacy. The Rooftop view is epic.AC worked great and the cleanliness was perfect. There is no downside for a healthy family. There are 5 different floors so if you or someone in the party cannot take the steps then you should choose an apartment and not a house.
We had a wonderful stay!!!! The house is in the perfect location! The house is wonderful and as described. Communication was excellent and check-in easy. Would highly recommend. The views from the terrace are exceptional!!! Can't wait to come again. Thank you. Beth B
Beautiful property excellent location, amazing sea views! The fisherman home was spacious enough for our whole family. It was easy to walk out and explore the highlights of the area. Be prepared for multiple levels, but we enjoyed it. The rooftop was the best as the views were spectacular.
We loved our stay at Amelie and Bernard’s house. Hosts were very responsive and looked after us well. We had this beautiful house to ourselves. The rooms have big windows, are light and airy. Some of the rooms have a stunning view of the sea. The kitchen is well equipped, Wi-Fi was great but the real specialness of this place lies in its roof Terrace and top floor. We had the best family mornings and evenings there. The perfect space for breakfasts, board games and evening meals/drinks. We had a wonderful time!

The location of the house and view from the terrace are very very good. The house was renovated 25 years ago and would require a full upgrade of bathrooms and kitchen, floors and furniture . We would book again if this was done.
The house has just 4 bedrooms. If the house was full there would not be enough room to eat at a table.
I would not recommend the property for families with young children or older guests. The house is on 6 levels with a narrow staircase - the kitchen is on the top floor
The owner and manager were easy to contact and during our stay they attempted to get contractors to do urgent repairs - in France this seems difficult We hope that the house will be upgraded, painted etc for future guests
We used an underground car park, a ten minute walk from the house. It is possible to unload luggage quickly and double park about 50 m away from the house but the gendarmes are very tight on this and you could be towed away
The property is not as represented on VRBO and communicating with the owner and housekeeper is less than responsive. The living conditions are very poor. There is a significant odor of mold and sewer smell that permeates the entire flat. The bathrooms are not clean and have mold and mildew, broken tiles. The kitchen is very small and not more than one person can be in at a time. There is no large dining table as depicted on VRBO and the day bed that they claim is a double bed is not feasible for sleeping. There are steep stairs throughout the property some without railings. The linens and towels are thin, old and ragged. The only area a few people group can gather is the top level where there are very small chairs and uncomfortable benches, adjacent to this 'sitting' area there is a deck with a view the only nice feature of the property. There were ants and bugs inside this room the kitchen and bedrooms. The upstairs sliding door to the deck cannot be closed properly. we were advised to spray for bugs and keep windows open for the odors, even with these the smells did not improve. Due to the odors we had become physically ill and had no choice but to to leave the property 5 days early due to these unlivable conditions. When we advised the owner, we were told there were no problems and no refunds. I would NOT recommend this property nor the unpleasant demeanor of the owner and unresponsive housekeeper. The location and view are the only attractions. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Just a vindication review from a guest who changed plans, left the house without check-out and invented reasons to get a refund.
The vrbo description is accurate : In fact, there are two tables for 8 dinners, in dining room and on the terrace, the terrace door closes perfectly, the kitchen is large enough for the house, the seating in living room is comfortable, the steps are normal height, etc…
Schönes Haus in toller Lage, vor allem die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum. Zufahrt mit dem Auto kompliziert (zumindest ohne detaillierte Informationen zur Anfahrt).
Magnifica posizione e vista panoramica fantastica ma abitazione sporca : trovato sull’armadio mutande sporche dell’ inquilino precedente, lavandino cucina rotto, luce cucina rotta, biancheria letto usurata ed insufficiente, dormito senza federe, asciugamani bagno sporchi e puzza di muffa e fognatura e riscaldamento insufficiente, ecc …alias : des vrais pigeons touristiques de première catégorie !

It appears that the house has not been prepared correctly. All issues will be resolved quickly to keep the standard of the house which satisfied most guests so far.
Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Es hat alles unkompliziert geklappt. In Haus ist manches in die Jahre gekommen und hätte sauberer sein können. Ansonsten war alles super, gerade die Lage und der Ausblick vom Haus sind unschlagbar.
Excellente situation par rapport à la gare, aux bus, au marché, au supermarché !
Tout sur 5 niveaux mais ce n’est pas désagréable ! Une terrasse idyllique au dernier étage ! L’annonce d’abritel commence par « maison récemment rénovée »… c’est sans doute un tantinet surfait… mais notre groupe réduit à 6 était au large et nous avons bien profité de notre séjour !
Vi är så nöjda! Detta charmiga townhouse på 5 våningar med en underbar terrass, ett välutrustat kök och ett fantastiskt läge gjorde vår vistelse outstanding. Vi kommer gärna tillbaks!

Prime location! It's overlooking the bay, near beaches and it's in the best part of old town near the market. The views are magical and it's well-equipped for anything you need (the AC was great on really hot days).
We didn't mind the many stairs (it's a skinny house across five levels). The only thing that bothered us was the neighbors occasionally talking right outside until late into the night.
But all in all a truly incredible stay. We would highly recommend!
Wunderschöne Lage, direkt in der Altstadt und and der Küste. Preislich voll in Ordnung. Kommunikation war teilweise etwas schwieriger. Alles in Allem war es ein Top-Urlaub ;D
