Look no further for your perfect luxurious log home to rent. Our home is great for couples, families, honeymoons or retreats. This home features 2 large decks w/ rocking chairs and dining, a nice 4 person hot tub w/ privacy, gorgeous views of Golden Pond and a private dock that is built out into the water for fishing or enjoying the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. We’re surrounded by tall pine trees in a fantastic neighborhood with high end log homes. Drive 5 minutes to Broken Bow lake and take off on a day hike on gorgeous trails in the woods or rent a boat for the day for your group. We’re just 2 miles from Hochatown where you can enjoy live entertainment, visit the brewery, dine w/ friends, and enjoy all sorts of family activities like putt putt, go carts, Zip line adventures or the famous Hochatown Escape Games. Our home is fully equipped w/ high end pine log beds (1 King, 1 Queen), queen size leather sleeper in the living room, fold out super comfy beds for extra guests to 8, Full size washer/dryer, large dining table, and nice open concept floor plan w/ 3 HDTV’s, cable, high speed internet, wifi, etc.The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook onsite. Sit around the fire pit at night and enjoy s’mores and stories. Fire up one of the 2 grills onsite while the kids fish in the stocked pond (Stocked w/ catfish, bass and perch). Book w/ confidence….owners take excellent care of this home to ensure your next vacation is worry free!

This was a beautiful log cabin by a lake with plenty of fish.

Family Extended Weekend

4 night stay before back to school next week. House is nice, clean, and as advertised. We caught fish in the pond every morning. Good location, just outside of the busy sections of Hochatown, but close enough to be anywhere of interest in minutes. Beds and linens were very good and comfortable. Bath linens need to be replaced BADLY, worn, torn, and in bad shape. Upstairs shower had a constant leak and zero hot water from the beginning of our stay to the end. Contacted the contacts listed via text and email. The only response I received was the ‘text read’ confirmation on my phone. Wasn’t a deal breaker as it was just the four of us and could all use the downstairs shower, but no response is unacceptable in our books. Really the only reason I can’t give this stay a 5-star rating. Otherwise, a nice place.

Short Getaway

It was a great cabin for our small family. The pond is fun for catching small fish. This is not a cabin that has much privacy, but it doesn’t take away from the experience. The price per night was very reasonable.

Beautiful Area

The cabin was beautiful and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub needed updated . Controls where not great. TV in bedrooms didn’t work . Needed matches or lighter for fire pit. Need new skillets . Shower upstairs drips all the time. Overall great, just little details need improved. Thank you

Short family trip over Thanksgiving

We arrived to the cabin and found it to be as listed. However, we went about our evening and decided to burn a small fire in the fire pit outside and the smoke somehow made it’s way into the upstairs room of the cabin. I’m guessing the windows aren’t sealed properly . The wind was blowing that direction for the entire length of the night. We were unable to sleep upstairs because of the strong smell of smoke. We then proceeded to place the children on the pull out couch in the living room and the entire metal frame was broken and was unable to even use that . The pond was advertised as stocked but we didn’t catch not one fish the entire 2 day stay. The location was good. Overall I would give this cabin a 3 of 5 stars.

Quiet Time Away

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was clean, spacious and well stocked. It was the perfect place to get some quiet time away from home. I woke up early in the mornings to go sit on the dock by the tranquil pond in the back and bring in the day with a cup of chai tea, breathing in the fresh clean morning air. We left feeling recharged. Would certainly book again!
