This is a unique opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and get back to nature only 30 mins north of Auckland , enjoy the peace of 30 acres of native bush or get out on the magical Waiwera River on a stand up paddle board or canoe provided with your stay , or simply fall asleep on your own private deck .For confidant swimmers the river is a wonderful place for a swim or a jump off the trampoline into the water for the more adventurous visitor. We can provide a large tent for extra guests (the children) if required or get them to sleep under the stars on the deck right outside the cabin. This is a chance to really step away from the noise of modern day living and connect with the family and nature, leave the devices behind and step out of your comfort zone for 24hours. more outdoor activities can be arranged if requested (Air rifles,bush craft, boat trip to outer islands etc)

We are truly a local family ,we have lived on the property for 24 years now, my three daughters still enjoy this place and we feel moved to share this amazing space with others, we know people and especially family groups will love to spend some time and get to appreciate all that nature has to offer with a stay on our property.

Why they chose this property

Its truly special , unique in that it is a short trip from Auckland our largest city , yet it feels like you could be on the West coast of the south Island tucked away in a bush hut, hopefully the city folk will be keen to come out and enjoy what is on their doorstep.

What makes this property unique

Relaxation, reconnection with loved ones, hopefully a sense of achievement as the activities on offer could be challenging , we are happy to help guide people in an activity if requested on the river or in the bush.
Would be a great place to spend some romantic time with a loved one as well!
