Luxury Space, not luxury beds
Overall, this condo is very spacious and is in a great location to the beach. No one from our groups felt suffocated or on top of each other the whole trip.
Pros - spacious and location to the beach.
Cons - limited to two parking spaces for a five bedroom place with no overnight street parking close by; needs a little TLC. It felt very much like a rental property, meaning, the beds were extremely noisy and extremely uncomfortable, specific kitchen needs were missing - cookie sheets or pizza pan, minimal pots and pans, pizza cutter, scissors, the keurig machine is a "deluxe maker" and not suited for regular k-cups, the ice maker in the freezer barely worked. The building itself is not very well insulated so you can hear everything through the walls and doors and even the people walking/running above you. Our particular week had a young child running across the floors from sun-up to sun-down right above us.
Another thing to note is while this property is booked through VRBO, it is also through a local rental company -
"Elliott Beach Rentals". This was an awful experience dealing with them and their "check-in" process. Prior to the trip, they state in their rental agreement the check-in time is 3 p.m., which any person would expect their unit to be cleaned and ready by 3 p.m. since check-out time is 10 a.m. I waited to pick up my packet of papers and details until 4 p.m., avoiding any crowd or rush. What the rental company doesn't tell you, until the day of, is that your unit may not be ready at 3 p.m. and they will "text" you when the unit is cleaned and ready. The wording should be changed to information pickup begins at 3pm, but that doesn't mean your unit will be ready until later. Our unit was not ready until 6 p.m. the day we arrived after driving 10+ hours. When I called, I was told "to go somewhere that had A/C and wait." I expressed that it was unacceptable to tell anyone check-in time is 3 p.m., and the unit not even ready. To me, by definition of wording, check in means you are able to access the unit and it is ready. They were extremely unprofessional and rude to deal with.
