Welcome to Black Bear Cabin located in the beautiful, gated community of Beach O Pines in Grand Bend ON. Nestled between Grand Bend and the Pinery Provincial Park, this recently renovated 3-bedroom, 1 bath property is a 2-minute walk to a private white sand beach. Amenities include: Firepit, WIFI, cable TV, natural gas BBQ, two decks, and A/C.

Conditions: One well behaved dog (pet fee applies), mature adults (25+) and families only, non-smoking. Please ensure you check off on your booking request of you're bringing a pet.

Very comfortable cottage in a beautiful area of Lake Huron. The beach is a five minute walk with the best sunsets. The Pinery Provincial Park, Grand Bend and Bayfield are all a short drive away. Absolutely loved it!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Black Bear Cabin! The cabin is clean, tidy, and has everything we needed. The grounds are well maintained. Close to a wonderful beach! We look forward to going back!

Went with family for a week in August 2025. Cottage was in an excellent location, only 3-4 minute walk to beach. Lake was beautiful, very shallow, sandy entrance, great for children. Cottage was clean but needed a bit of maintenance. Make sure to bring your own supply of bath towels and tea towels. Great, safe area for taking long walks and biking around. Natural gas BBQ was nice for cooking. Very good Wi-Fi and tv service. Beds were comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed the area.

A wonderful cabin

We truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin in the woods at grand bend. It is a perfect location to the beach shopping. Close to the Pinery provincial park very secluded and safe. We look forward to coming back here next year.

Nice secluded cottages in the bush with tall pines…

Cottage was very comfortable …2minute walk to a beautiful beach….close to town…we had amazing fires in pit every night…area was very quiet…the ramp in front and grab bar in bathroom was a bonus for my husband…thank you…

Located in a very beautiful area. A short walk to an amazing beach where are you can take long walks. The beach was not crowded. The backyard is a small woods and lovely to sit out back. Very private area. Cottage was clean and nicely equipped. Cottage

Beautiful cottage - close to walking trails and private beach.

Our first impression was that while the front deck and chairs looked newer, the grounds were unkept and could use a good sweeping and cleanup of decks and chairs back and front. Once we had done this though we enjoyed the airy cottage with comfortable beds and large kitchen. The master bedroom looked newer and was large and comfy - We enjoyed the firepit every night and once we had cleaned the gas bbq it was a great amenity. The gas on and off lever is to the right of the bbq near the door. Not on the left behind as stated. Beautiful quiet neighbourhood and just a four minute walk to the sandy path to the private beach. Just a couple of suggestions - perhaps a screen in the second bedroom window, spot clean carpet stains in master and maybe supply a couple of bungy cords to keep local critters out of the garbage can. Overall a really great cottage in a beautiful location for a 7 night stay.

Beautiful and Relaxing Place

The property is exacting as presented on VRBO. It was very clean and nicely appointed. We had a lot of rain so we didn't get to use the outdoor furniture during our stay. The neighbour is beautiful and a very short walk to the beach. Thanks for letting us use your property.
