Golden Bear Pause has the perfect mix of indoor comfort & outdoor spaces for the whole family to enjoy.

The open concept great room includes the living room, kitchen & dining area. Flip on the gas fireplace, sink into the sectional & enjoy a movie together on the 55” big screen. The kitchen is complete w/ stainless steel appliances & bar seating for 3--great for socializing while cooking. When dinner is ready, the dining table is steps away w/ seating for 6.

If you prefer to dine al fresco, make your way to the back patio where a gas BBQ, round table & outdoor seating for 6 await!

The backyard is fully fenced for the family dog to roam freely while you kick back & relax in the luxurious hot tub after a day on the mountain or at the lake.

The upstairs master bedroom has a warm king bed & sliding glass doors to a balcony. It is outfitted w/ a desk, ergonomic chair & monitor screen for anyone working from home-away-from-home. The ensuite master bathroom has a jetted tub, walk-in shower & 2 separate sink vanities.

The laundry room is attached to the master bathroom.

Downstairs you’ll find BD 2 w/ a king bed & sliding glass doors to the back deck. BD 3 is also downstairs w/ a full-over-full bunk bed, deck access & 32” TV w/ streaming.

BDs 2 & 3 share a full BA w/ a share/tub combo. A 1/2 BA is near the living room.

1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval. No other animals allowed. Bring your own crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings & any damage caused by dog(s).

Great place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Everything is in good working order, good condition, and the house is well stocked. It's clear from the onset that your experience with RnR will be better than booking a short term stay on a mega short term rental App. They have great communication and are flexible where possible. This house was perfect for 4 adults + a dog and could have held a couple more comfortably. We'll be back!

Everything we needed!

Beds/pillows were very comfy and the hot tub at the end of the day was delightful. The gas fireplace in the master kept the room cozy. Nice quiet neighborhood. Mgmt team was helpful with a lot of communication. Would recommend rental car for this location as the Ubers are outrageous! $50-60 each way to go to South Lake Tahoe/Heavenly even though the drive was under 10 minutes. Other than that we have no complaints!

Pioneer Trail Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is in a great location for skiing at Heavenly and close to the lake for dining out and shopping. There is a large backyard, hot tub, and fairly stocked kitchen. The cabin was very clean when we arrived, but since this is a pet friendly cabin there is a little pet hair around even though we do not have pets. Overall a very clean and convenient cabin, and we would stay again in the future.

Great location, customer service could use some work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great. We brought our bikes, tons of trails right down the street. Trail runs right next to a beautiful creek. Saw 2 bears on our trip. Master bedroom was great. Bowls and poop bags provided for the dogs, however dogs are not allowed in bedrooms. Our 2 large dogs are crate trained, but we weren’t prepared to have to crate them in the tight living quarters/kitchen in the front of the house. It’s a minimal issue, just found it weird. Everything was clean and the washer and dryer upstairs was a great bonus. We really looked forward to the hot tub, unfortunately we couldn’t get anyone to come service it. Even asking more than twice to customer service. It got disgusting, it wasn’t extremely clean to begin with. So we weren’t able to use it every night as we intended to(and paid for). They do charge you if you ask for it to be cleaned, I found this off putting but wasnt the end of the world. The bigger issue was no one showing up to service it after the multiple contact attempts. Kitchen is well stocked, bbq worked great and we enjoyed the fire place and large dining room table and couch with our friends.
