Well worth a visit

We had a lovely stay at this property. The beds and furniture were super comfy. The location was excellent, so close to the beach. The air conditioning unit was a definite plus for the hot days we had. Lots of things provided to help us enjoy our stay, such as coffee machine, beach chairs, and outdoor shower.

Perfect Spot

My husband and I and our little dog came for a few days break to Waihi Beach and we had a lovely time. The accommodation was lovely and clean, had everything you could think of. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure is excellent. The nearby cafe, Flat White is a must visit and we walked down every evening for either a drink or something to eat as it is dog and coeliac friendly too. We just loved it all. Would definitly recommend 😃

Great Stay

We loved our short stay in such a lovely neat and tidy house . Great location within walking distance of tge Beach and Cafe. Loved the big outdoor deck . We will come back .

It's just a short walk down the road to the white sands and sparkly blue waters of Waihi Beach, voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beaches in New Zealand.

Beach front cafe, the Flat White, is only a short walk away as is the local petrol station perfect for last min ice for cocktails, lollies or ice creams on hot days!

Nearby Waihi Beach village (2 min drive or 10 min walk) is full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and cafes, a small supermarket and award-winning butcher making this area full of everything you need for that perfect getaway!

The beaches nearby are wonderful for walking, shell collecting, swimming, surfing or playing in the sand. There are many well equipped children’s playgrounds in the area as well as great walking and biking tracks including the famous Mountain Bike trail through the Karangahake Gorge. This trail is great for kids (or any age) you pass over bridges, through tunnels and explore the old gold mine and water fall. Bike hire is possible in Waihi town or the Waihi Beach village.

This beach house is in an ideal location to explore the Bay of Plenty. Tauranga is a 1-hour drive, and Coromandel is 1.5 hours. The Karangahake Gorge is 20 minutes away for wonderful walking and exploring as well as a winery, restaurant and café, a waterfall and bike trails. Hobbiton is only an hours drive away and the famous Waitomo Caves or Rotorua both 1.5-2 hours away by car. Auckland International airport is also only 2 hours drive.

The two main bedrooms and central living all have sliding doors opening onto the generous deck space with outdoor seating, BBQ and grapevine, the deck faces north and has lovely views of the Kaimai hills. Flowing on from the deck is a landscaped garden with more seating areas, brazier and lounging chairs, surrounded by tropical palm trees, your own little oasis in the heart of Waihi Beach.
