Highly recommend staying at White Rocks
White Rocks, just stunning! From the moment we walked through the front door we felt at home and at peace. Even though the location is so close to the Main Street it is so quiet and serene. I was not expecting the kitchen to be so well stocked, and very much appreciated the bottle of wine, loaf of bread, milk, juice. Eggs, bacon, tomatoes and all the other things you could need. I spent this weekend in Tanunda for my sons wedding, I now need to find an excuse to go back to White Rocks. Thank you Peter & Jan for opening this beautiful home for people to enjoy. I highly recommend anyone to stay here and would honestly give a 20 star rating if I could. Again, thank you so much, Kylie

"White Rocks" two night stay December 2022
The Accommodation was perfect for all that was required. Location / Amenities etc. Had everything we required for a comfortable stay and more. The initial entrance to the property has an instant WOW Factor - Great Presentation on entering the property both from outside and inside. Easy walk to the Main Street, Restaurants, Hotel and Shops. Beautiful Landscaped Gardens with ample shade over the back lawned area creating a cool shaded space to relax. Off Street Parking was an added bonus. Well done to the owners of this prestigious property. Thankyou Darryl, Thea, Tim & Matt

Elegant gracious house in central location
The house is spacious, with many options for sitting and relaxing. Well appointed and scrupuously clean. It has character and charm and is well located to the attractions of the Barossa. Lovely bedrooms with crisp quality sheets and attractive decor.

Having grown up in the Barossa in the sixties and seventies I have always had a strong connection and love of the region. My parents were licencees of the Barossa Hotel (now known as the Brauhaus Hotel) in Angaston and I attended Angaston primary school and later Nuri High. When Jan (my wife) and I came across this beautiful house in Julius Street Tanunda in 2015 we just fell in love with it and its perfect location in Tanunda, it was a purchase of the heart and we have carefully restored it to add modern amenities while maintaining its period features. We love living at Whiterocks ourselves from time to time as do our two daughters and their families, its very pleasing to be able to share Whiterocks with our guests for their exclusive pleasure during their stay to truly `experience Barossa¿. While working in the front garden I have had the pleasure of talking with many local residents who have stopped for a chat and recount their memories of the house and its history, one local resident told me her grandparents where the original owners and builders of the house and her grandmother planted the three now magnificent crepe myrtle trees near the front gate, she was so pleased I was maintaining the garden in it¿s original format as set out by her grandparents in 1935. My wife Jan suggested the name Whiterocks due to the garden edging stones and gravel paths made of Angaston marble which has been quarried at Penrice near Angaston since the 1870s and used in many local historic buildings. We hope you enjoy your stay at Whiterocks and would love to know what you like and if there is anything we can improve.
