An iconic, historical Queenslander with 3 magnificent newly appointed and elegant guest suites, all with their own luxury ensuites. Sleeps 6, with 2 extra rollaway beds. Set on a former Pineapple Plantation, 2 acres of beautiful gardens. I live upstairs in the main part of the house, guest quarters are on the ground level ….there is a Country Kitchen & BBQ area.

Sisters only weekend away

a lovely property with a tasty fresh breakfast each morning, nice garden and pool, just need some chooks for the hen house. We enjoyed the badminton set.

Delightful Location with Attentive Host

We booked out all three suites for a family getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Deana made us feel very welcome, and responded promptly to any request. The breakfasts were fantastic, and there are plenty of seperate zones in which to relax. There is no TV in the living room which was fantastic. If you have kids who need space - the yards are expansive, but covered areas are a bit restricted if it is raining (great tie for card games!). A thoroughly enjoyable stay, close to Montville and Maleny, with plenty to do, or nothing to do - the choice is yours.

I was lucky to move into this beautiful Homestead in early 2020. During the Covid period I found a fabulous builder who converted the entire ground floor level to beautiful guest accommodation. I live upstairs, and welcome guests in the 3 Suites, all with beautiful ensuites, providing a sumptuous breakfast for all guests. I enjoy looking after guests and making sure their stay is comfortable and memorable.

Why they chose this property

Firstly, I serve a magnificent Buffet breakfast every morning..... this has become a very special, welcome treat for all of my guests. This beautiful property has the best of so many options. Mitta Glen is a Mountain retreat, close to the beautiful village of Montville, and all the cafes, shops and galleries. It is also a short drive to the Sunshine Coast Beaches, and just over an hour north of Brisbane.

What makes this property unique

Views, stunning gardens with multiple areas to relax and escape. Glorious mineral water lagoon pool to enjoy. Beer garden, BBQ area for guests exclusive use. There is a large fire pit and cosy chairs to sit around and enjoy the beautiful night sky. Close to all the local events centres, villages, cafes, restaurants. Kondallila Falls and Montville are only minutes away. Mitta Glen is also very convenient to local Wedding Function Centres, and I invite wedding groups to stay here.
