Cleanliness issue

Very cozy studio. Good to have iron and board . Also hairdryer. No hangers in the closet. Shower door and corners had a mold. Garbage was left from a previous guest. Wi-Fi speed very slow. Location is great.

Just not that relaxing...

Check-in is horrible. This building has 21 stories with about 20 units per floor. That's about 400 units with Sat & Sunday check-ins... so AVOID the lobby on the weekends. How do you do that? NO IDEA. There is ONE elevator bank with 4 elevators, 1 of which was broken on the Saturday we checked in. Not to mention the ONLY 2 dozen (or so) various types of luggage carts/bins/shopping carts for the entire building to use and squeeze into the elevators... To try to maintain peace in my marriage- I got my wife up and into the unit with a cold drink while I struggled with 4 elevator trips of luggage, coolers, etc. that took me over 3 hours to get everything up to the 8th floor. Small caveat- the nasty white lady (NWL) that works the lobby will inform you that you need to pay them $50 for a parking pass, for your unit, even though you've already PAID IN FULL when you booked your unit. There's no way around it. They also have one (maybe several) Denver Boots that the security will lock onto your tire if you park in the lot w/o a parking pass... I saw it done... ON THE CLEANING CREW. And to remove it- they demand $100 IN CASH (to avoid taxes maybe???). And this is all managed by NWL. Yea- what a start to a vacation... So our unit- very nice, everything was as it should be, except... the bedding. EVERY DRAWER was full of various types of comforters, pillows, etc. I won't use someone else's pillows/bedding. But with the drawers all full of stuff... Oops... out of space.

The room nice.

The room was nice and view was great. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a stay at the beach. The check in at the Golden Sands was difficult to say the least. The elevator was extremely slow and everyone in the entire building was trying to move in at the same time. A Mess!
