The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly studio just steps away from the beach! It has a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials and stainless steel appliances, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and a huge TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location!

This is the place to be if you want to enjoy sunrises at the beach! Just beautiful from the balcony or the interior! Fitness room on the top floor gives you sunsets over the bay. It was quiet, clean and well-maintained.

Perfect weekend getaway

Small and perfect for a two person getaway. Very clean. Bring your own coffee. Plenty of filters available. Supposed to be a smoke free building however the people next to us smoked on their balcony so we couldn’t leave the screen door open or our place smelled like smoke. The indoor pool was relaxing.

While the kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals, food and other pantry items like coffee and tea are not typically stocked in the home. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they anticipate needing additional items during their stay.Our home has a strict no-smoking policy that we take very seriously; regretfully private owners in the surrounding buildings are not held to our house rules but our team does work with the condo association to provide the best possible stay for each of our guests. Wonderful ocean front get away

We were in town for youth softball nationals. Our unit was perfect for my husband and I. The full kitchen came in handy for breakfast and lunch. It is well stocked with everything you need. We’ve never slept on a Murphy bed before and it was very comfortable. The shower was large. You’re provided with everything you’ll need…..laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tabs, soap, toilet paper and paper towels. We can’t wait to return!!!

Drain in bathroom sink wouldn't drain. Code to get in the room was wrong, spent alot of time trying to get this figured out. Lights flickering in the bathroom. Chairs on porch were broken. Other than that,,, it was ok

Would not stay here again.

When we arrived, the bathroom sink was clogged. Had to call maintenance on day one to have it fixed. Maintenance personnel were awesome though! Air conditioning did not work. we had the thermostat set at 70°, but the temperature never dropped below 74° in the room. we never heard any A/C fan kick on in the room And it was not very hot during the week we stayed. Door handle in bathroom was about to fall off. The whole place is very dated. We would not stay here again.

Perfect Size

My husband and I booked this weekend away as a belated birthday celebration and just a much needed couples relaxing weekend. We were also super thrilled the airshow was happening as well and it felt like we were right there in the practice and some of the airshow itself with the location of our condo. We we're a little nervous about the possibility the space may be small or the bed may be small but much to our surprise and enjoyment everything was plentiful and so, SO comfortable! The only recommendation is that we both found the shower stall floor rather slippery, so if non-skid surfacing could be added that would be the only constructive criticism. Additionally the staff of The Golden Sands was absolutely amazing and outstanding! You don't find that a lot of places anymore, but certainly not OC where its always bustling. Kudos to everyone!

Rented this studio for my niece’s wedding I was in charge of the bridal gown transport Got to this studio apt and found there was no closet No wear to hang any item Called the managing agent (Vacasa) was told “did you see a closet in the ad” I replied “didn’t see a toilet but certainly expected to have one” Also had tv issue—no resolution, dirty broken cheap chairs on balcony, various broken items throughout the apartment which normally wouldn’t bother me but with the apathy I received from management they started too I must mention for my “troubles” I received a $25. refund Seriously I had to scramble to find someone to take care of the wedding gown which isn’t an easy task a day before

Very nice apartment, loved the kitchen, made cooking that much easier. Loved the view & balcony. Loved the swivel tv and bed was comfy. I just had to remember to get what I needed out the drawers before getting ready for bed…lol.

Great little condo

Great location! I didn’t get to enjoy it as I was on the go, but beach was right there, an outdoor bar(didn’t get to enjoy). One thing is I would list the amenities that are on the bottom level, mini mart and arcade. Had an issue with the A/C but when I notified them it was fixed that day. Will definitely stay again if it fits our needs.

Clean. Well appointed. Right on the beach. The beachfront balcony was used a lot. The sandy beach area with lounge chairs was really nice. Pool wasnt quite open outdoors, but looked fabulous. Front desk staff were very nice too.
