This is a beautiful historic building. Close to the park and walking trails. Also on the corner of an intersection so some traffic noise in the morning but not terrible. The suite was lovely and well equipped with lots of space.
The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The only negative was that the bed was unfortunately not comfortable as it was soft and sinking in the middle. We would recommend this stay, albeit with a new bed.

We drove almost 2000km to stay in Liverpool. A small town in the south central area of Nova Scotia and honestly this was a very great Accommodation. It was in the middle of this cute little east coast town. The actual building and unit were clean and had a bed, living space, full kitchen bathroom. The host was easy to communicate with, gave us great recommendations and was able to accommodate our rather late arrival. The only complaint I had was the shared front door system as the other tenants would sometimes forget to lock the door so we were locking it when we arrived back or left. However this is not a huge deal as you do have your own door as well that you would lock behind you when you are coming and going.

So happy to have had the chance to be part of your Nova Scotia vacation! Thanks for your stay and hope you will return one day!
Quirky apartment in a lovely old home right in downtown. Walking distance to the Mercy River, places to eat and the lighthouse. Checkin was a bit of a production due to a technical issue with VRBO not being able to provide checkin instructions which were a bit on the complicated side already. But communication with owner was good. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well but was left off so the apartment was really hot when I arrived. The sofas in the living area had a vintage smell that was a little off putting but the TV was large and new.

Was “ upgraded “ to third floor last minute, not the suite we booked. Basically an attic space decorated with yard sale finds. Clean enough, but property seems a bit un-loved….and is for sale.

Lovely once we got in.
We didn’t receive any information on how to get into the suite, all we got ahead of time was the wifi password. On our arrival, I emailed the host, but got no reply. Luckily, the woman who cleans, and I gather, generally looks after guests, came along. She was very welcoming and helpful. We have never had any response from the host.
The suite was very nice, but the bed is beyond its best-before date.
Comfortable accommodations in the heart of Liverpool
Very comfortable apartment style suite with full kitchen and super comfy bed, A/C was a bonus, large couches in living room. Some street noise and a bit of difficulty with traffic/getting out of parking spot but manageable. Minor checkin issue where the key wasn’t in kitchen but excellent communication from property manager and was remedied quickly. Overall a good experience and will be staying again.
Fabulous. Clean, quiet, spacious and a comfortable bed. Lots of space to spread our stuff out as we stayed 5 nights. Great location for exploring the region. We used this as a home base to visit Lunenburg (twice) and as far south as the historic waterfront of Shellbourne, and the beaches in between. It’s summer, so we really appreciated the AC!
A bit of a problem checking in but that was remedied fairly quickly. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Nice rainfall shower and plenty of hot water. So nice to have a dishwasher and a washer and dryer for our use. The path along the Mersey River is a gem as is the hidden sculpture garden. Thank you for an enjoyable stay in Liverpool!

What makes this property unique
Rare is the chance to stay in a heritage property where you are completely self contained, able to enjoy your breakfast in privacy. Usually you are in a bed and breakfast to be able to enoy this kind of property. Location location, which is central to all there is to see and do in the beautiful Queens area.
