This is a great location and we really enjoyed being able to swim just outside. Views were amazing and the yard offered a lot of privacy. The host was great and quickly responded to any questions we had. Had a great time and will definitely hope to return in the future.

The cottage was very clean, the host very responsive.
It was quiet and super relaxing! A must!
Paul is a awesome host...quick to reply to all our questions and very accommodating. We truly enjoyed our 4 relaxing, restful days in the very comfortable living room with so many large windows providing a magnificent view of Lake Ontario. I would highly recommend Paul's VRBO to adults who want to discover Prince Edward County and love the beauty of nature

Hi Doris- I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. I have investigated these claims and determined the following:
-the water was likely a little murkier than usual since the house sat empty for 30 days before you were in. With little throughput it takes a while for the water to eliminate its stagnancy. This is typical for a well system.
-I did tell you beforehand about the water being provided in 20L jugs
-the linens had small cosmetic swipes from previous guests over the summer. The affected linens have been removed.
-the dirt and other aspects you reported were examined. This was minor and probably due to oversight.
-overall I feel your criticism is severe and not a fair reflection of what the facilities provided you. It is fairly portrayed in the pictures and description, and as you can see in their reviews, many enjoyed their stay this summer.
Our favourite part of this cottage was having coffee every morning and looking out at the lake. Great space for a couple families or a group of friends, as the bunkie and multiple bathrooms makes things easier for a larger group. Probably more suited to familes with older children/teenagers as there is a drop off at the shoreline and no sandy beach, but still good swimming and easy access for our kayaks. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
The property had lots of space for our large group. We appreciated the large kitchen workspace and extendable dining table. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and utensils. The view is amazing and backyard has a good mixture of sun and shade. Stairs to the lake were steep and we appreciated the owners recommendation of water shoes for swimming. The water is nice and clear.
The owner is very good at answering questions.
