Great walking distance to the main centre of town. Great for our dog. The only downside was the mattress, it was very hard to sleep on.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable the only issue being the internet was not working which made it hard to plan day trips, we ended up purchasing our own portable modem. Other than not having internet access as advertised the property was clean tidy and had almost everything we needed. Thank you for a relaxing getaway

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was an odd smell. The internet worked for about five minutes, a fella came out and fixed it and worked for another five mins. Noisy corner even for a quiet town. A very small place. Hot water runs out when running a bath. Very female focused bedroom, pink blanket etc. as a male felt a bit odd sleeping in the main room. Close to water and shops.

Lovely cottage

Property was lovely and clean . 2 loos were a bonus and the dogs loved the space . It would be great for a family and friends like us. Tricky thing is reversing out on to the corner but it’s ok if you do it quickly . Perfect walk into town .. on the down side access to power points is tricky for phone charging . We bought a 1.8 metre extension chord but it was too short for convenience in the bunk room .. this room also didnt have a bedside light and the master had blown bulbs in one bedside .. saying that it was very comfortable.. the tv was tricky as we didn’t have the required streaming account but could access normal tv and we took an old school cable hdmi to lighting and streamed from the iPad to get foxtel so all good there .. we would absolutely go back

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A cosy two bedroom well-appointed unit with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Even a dishwasher. It has an enclosed backyard with table, chairs, recliner and bbq. Our little dog loved the stay. Well appointed and well decorated. Off street parking. Reverse cycle ac with good output. Large screen tv but with limited channels. We couldn’t access any wifi and there was no instruction book. Shower was hot but not very strong. The house is on the corner of the main road which was good for access but a little noisy. Overall an excellent stay and we will rebook.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodation was clean and beds were comfortable. We all enjoyed our break We had a problem checking in which was our fault. We rang from Bairnsdale for the key code and it took 20 mins to get a text with the code from Gippsland Lakes Escapes even though it was confirmed fairly promptly that we were the persons who had booked uncertain why the code be sent at that point. It took us 55 mins from the time we rang until we accessed the property and we were in Bairnsdale. Couple of things missing at the accommodation.. beer glasses(glasses supplied were not suitable for beer) no scissors no bedside lamp in the 2nd B'room. crockery cutlery cooking utensils 7 pans plentiful. Didn't use the courtyard furniture need to be replaced and dead plants not in keeping with the standard of the interior of the house. Traffic noise was a problem for us.
