Mariri Magic - Home Away From Home

REDUCED RATE TO ABSORB TAXES. Modern 3 b/r & 2 bathroom house with FREE WIFI (we are rural so can be patchy at times). Located slightly off the Coastal HWY 60 with great views of the tidal estuary which is a popular spot for watersports across at Kina Beach/Domain.

Kina beach is a short drive away as are other family-friendly activities like the ever popular Kaiteriteri Beach 25 mins away, salt water baths in Port Motueka 10 mins away, Tasman Taste Trail for bike rides or early morning runs just minutes away.

Tramping, restaurants, wine/beer tasting and other amenities are all easily accessed from our location.

There is a large fenced off deck and lawn area out the front of the property to relax on and watch the children (NOT SUITABLE FOR INFANTS UNDER 2 - only have boundary fencing so not guaranteed to keep the little explorers safe). Great intimate BBQ area on other side of house to enjoy your evenings.

Owners live in back unit out of sight and sharing the driveway and are available for any questions or ideas to help you enjoy your holiday. Plenty of parking.

We allow pets but owners must bring bedding, pick up dodos, not allow pets on any furniture.

Had a great time!

We had a fabulous time. House was clean and tidy and plenty big enough for all 8 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with all appliances needed (and more!)

The host is great and always willing to help and do their best. We liked the house and setup. suited us well. The location is good for exploring the area but you need a car. For our party it would have been an advantage to be just in walking distance to town.

Mariri

Lovely location and base for our family holiday, so close to all the day trips we did to various beaches. Close to Motueka, Mapua, kaiteriteri and takaka. Would definitely stay there again, lovely property for children with heaps of space to run around and ride bikes and play outside games.

Comfortable Stay

The house is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and provides a good base for exploration of the Tasman region. Owner was excellent to deal with.

Nelly was born in the Netherlands and Dirk has Dutch relations. We both enjoy outdoors, socializing, and meeting people. As a host, we enjoy meeting a variety of people and although we live on the property we make it a point of only talking with guests when we see them as we value their privacy

Why they chose this property

We have beaches, mountains, ski fields, lakes, wineries (too many things to list) - all in our "back yard". All these attractions are close to us. There are hikes/walks for every level of fitness and length of time wanted included bike tracks. It truly is an amazing region of Tasman

What makes this property unique

We are a family home which is well equipped with home comforts. Just ask if you need anything and we will try our best to accommodate you. Plenty of outdoor space and choices to sit and relax.
