Beautiful and charming apartment in nineteenth century villa

The flat is on the TOP floor of the VILLA, has two wide bedrooms with private bathrooms, one kitchen, and one large living-room.
The furniture is modern and linear with refined details as a 19th century villa should have: TV flat screens, satellite, wireless internet connection.
Every room benefits of a fantastic panoramic vista.
Our guests are welcome in our garden and will benefit of a private area with a table and chairs, to relax under secolar trees and drink a glass of wine.
The villa is close to the gothic San Maurizio church, on Pinerolo green hill, but only 5 minutes away from the city center
Pinerolo is a green towd on Piedmont hills. it is only 2hours far from MILAN, EXPO 2015 location.
the nearest airport is in TURIN, 40km far away, but MILAN MALPENSA airport is only 1.30hours away from the town.
Pinerolo has a medieval historic centre that ends up on San Maurizio hill.
The glorious Horse Riding School was active here at the beguinning of ‘900 and at present, Pinerolo hosts a lot of cultural and historic events such as the International Horse riding competition or the Iron Mask cerimony.

Villa le Ortensie di Carlotta is a perfect starting point in order to reach artistic destinations like Turin, the eighteenth century Hunting Palace in Stupinigi, the Contemporary Art Museum of Rivoli or the Savoy residence La Venarla Reale.
it is extremely easy to reach Turin and Milan by train, with frequent public transports or car.
If you are looking for cuisin specialties of Piedmont you can easily reach Monferrato and its famous wines: barolo, barbaresco or dolcetto are made here. Alba (the white truffle territory) is only 50Km away .

Pinerolo is also in the centre of a Sport rich area: Sestriere and its olympic mountains with fantastic skiing slopes are only 1 hour away by car. In the summer, our mountains are the perfect meta of cycling tourists and famous competitions: Tour France was here in July 2011.
Golf-players will be able to choose from many fantastic clubs: the nearest practice court is in town, only 3 km away from our villa.

We rented this apartment as our "home-base" for two weeks while visiting Italian relatives nearby. Everything about it was just what we needed! The comfort of a home, kitchen appliances, decent bed, amazing water pressure, the pool and mostly the loveliness of the owners, Pia and Luigi. Beautiful villa in perfect location

Simply a wonderful place run by wonderful people. We loved our stay. The house is so beautiful, so tastefully decorated. The garden, the pool, the location, the views - everything is just perfect. So special it should be kept a secret!! We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay in Pinerolo. The apartment is warm and inviting, and the pool was a real highlight — especially during our July visit with seven consecutive days of sunshine. We were initially a bit concerned about the lack of air conditioning, but it turned out to be no issue at all. The residence sits atop a breezy hill, and the cool Piedmont nights made for very comfortable sleeping.We thoroughly enjoyed strolling around Pinerolo on foot, and the proximity to Turin added to the charm of our stay... La dolce vita!The hosts were delightful — friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The property matches the photos perfectly, and the gardens are absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained… it truly felt like living in a small castle!

Magical and addictive

Waking up to the sound of Luigi watering his lemon trees in the most picturescable surroundings is like being a part of the most beautiful and idyllic, Italian movie. The house, the pool, the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the view ... We cannot recommend this enough. It’s amazing.

Wir haben als Familie unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt in der oberen Etage der Villa genossen. Das Gastgeberehepaar ist sehr zuvorkommend und gleichzeitig sehr diskret und hilft bei Fragen und Wünschen. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen, wir hätten noch länger bleiben können, ohne uns zu langweilen. Die Stadt Pinerolo ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen, wir sind dort gerne essen gegangen, haben den Markt besucht oder zu Fuß die Stadt entdeckt. Der Pool ist herrlich und nicht einsehbar. Von unserer Wohnung gab es keinen direkten Zugang zum Pool. Da die Nachbarwohnung aber nicht vermietet war, durften wir dank unseres Vermieters, immer durch die Nachbarwohnung, um schneller dorthin zu gelangen.Wie auf den Bildern zu erkennen ist, ist die Wohnung sehr großzügig geschnitten und stilvoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann gut einen Tag in der Wohnung verbringen, wenn das Wetter eine Unternehmung nicht zulässt. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub dank unseren freundlichen Vermietern und der wunderschönen Ferienwohnung.

Exceptionally beautiful place with the most lovely couple as hosts. The appartment is huge and well equiped (no air conditioning though, it is an old house, which has so much charm, and if you pay attention you can keep the heat outside). Nothing beats the view of San Maurizio in the morning and Luigis garden. The pool is just perfect.

Beautiful gardens and amazing views

We were able to stay in others villa for 2weeks. Luigi and his wife were very kind. Walking down the hill to town and then walking back up offered a bit of a challenge but the views were worth it!

Incredible hilltop villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful villa while in town for our sons hockey tournament. Wonderful, very friendly owners who went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect stay. Quaint, clean very unique interior and the location provides spectacular views of the mountains and Pinerolo below!

A villa in a garden paradise

A beautiful villa surrounded by a stunning garden, the apartment was large, historic and yet very functionally modern. Pinerolo is a busy town not far from the magestic Italian alps. The Duomo is well worth a visit and the area surrounding it is charming. The food is excellent everywhere.

Beautiful Villa and property

We stayed four nights here for our son’s wedding nearby. The views from the villa balconies are spectacular, especially in the morning and evening. Why they chose this property

The property I rent is on the top floor of the eighteenth century villa where my parents live.
the villa was bought by my grandfather in 1950 and, at that time, 5 families were living there.
during Worls War II the villa was the Germans hedquarter of the area: Pinerolo sorroundings and mountains were full of Partisans.
The top floor of the villa, is divided in 2 indipendent flats, that we rent for vacations.
it was completely renovated in 2010, and flats are fully equipped.
My parents live on the ground and first floor of the villa

Pinerolo is a green town only 2 hours away from MILAN, EXPO 2015 city location.
the villa is 1 hour far from Turin airport and 1.30 hour far from Malpensa Airport.
The flat benefits of spacious bedrooms and unique views on the Alps and the plain towards Turin.
My father Luigi personally takes care of the fantastic garden where our guests can spend time reading or drinking a glass of wine and children can play.
