View CANNOT be beat!!

My husband and I had a great time at the cabin! Everything from the view to location to the coziness was exactly what we were looking for. Also being able to bring our dog was a plus. We loved everything about the house and plan on staying there in the future.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. We do apologize that the ice maker wasn't working, due to a leak. It has since been repaired, but we recognize and regret that it caused an inconvenience during your stay. We hope you'll come back to Gatlinburg soon; we'd love the chance to serve you again!

Very nice

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice and we enjoyed the view, however there was no reclining furniture or ottomans in the cabin to completely relax on. That would be a nice touch. Otherwise all was great.

Spectacular View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely fell in love with Camp! The view was out-of-this-world gorgeous! The chalet was beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and sturdy. The furniture was very substantial and comfortable as well. The kitchen was very well-stocked. We had everything we needed with the exception of a pizza pan. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked very clean and good size for four adults to relax comfortably. We highly recommend Camp. We want to come back in October as the view must be breath-taking! We did see a large bear walking just below us at the Trillium Lodge so that was very exciting! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us! We’ll certainly return as soon as we can!
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2023

Great location and view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great stay. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had an amazing view. The only complaint we had was that the cabin had a foul smell. We thought it was the disposal but finally realized the guest before us had thrown up on the couch and it was in between the cushions. The couch needed to be cleaned and disinfected. We did notify the office of this. Hopefully it got cleaned before the next guest arrived.
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2023
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in Camp. We also love the amazing view, and the wood paneling inside that gives it the true cabin feel. Thank you for making us aware of the smell, we appreciate it, and we hope to have you stay with us again soon!

Perfect Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is so close to town but still has the most amazing views. We have been staying in cabins in Gatlinburg for 10 years and this is my favorite. It is the perfect set up for two couples. The two minor drawbacks are that the windows and doors at the entry way have no coverings and we were only left one towel per person.
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2023
Mary, we agree that Camp is in a fantastic location to enjoy everything the town has to offer during the day, and only being a short drive from a relaxing evening in the chalet. With 2 bedrooms this is the perfect cabin for a couples retreat or a family vacation in the mountains. We are sorry for the inconvenience about the towels, but Mountain Laurel always provides extra essentials of anything we provide at the office. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us, and we hope to have you back with us soon!

Awesome Cabin but Beware Slippery when wet!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What an awesome cabin, gorgeous ambiance well done to the decorating team. With that said be very careful when the decks areWet because it is like a ice skating rink. Still in a knee bracefrom 3 weeks ago. Needless to say vacation was over after the epic slip and fall. We would come back I just would wear shoes on the deck at alltimes.
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2023
Oh no! We are so sorry to hear about your fall, but we are glad that you were able to enjoy your stay at Camp nonetheless. We agree that camp is a gorgeous house that is beautifully decorated and has a fantastic view. We would love to have you back again with us soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We're regular visitors to Gatlinburg for about 15 years. We think we've found our new favorite chalet! Camp is perfect for us and has a second king bedroom with it's full bath so another couple can come share the fun (and cost)! Already booked our next week stay as we love it so much. ❤
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Minute I walked into the chalet and the Christmas tree was lit, I knew it was going to be an amazing Christmas, the view was fantastic, the coziness of the home made it absolutely perfect for Christmas dinner and gifts by the tree.... The convenience to downtown was great for exploring the shops and trails, loved eating at Local restaurants and taking in some mountain time. Can’t wait to visit again !

Wonderful!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this cabin!! Wonderful view, gorgeous interior decorating, super clean, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed and nice beddings! The location was great as well; close to town, but definitely still in the mountains. The driveway easy to navigate and paved. We even saw a family of bears (mama and two cubs). Be sure to lock you car! They tried to open the doors! There were a couple of new build items that needed to be addressed, and the hot tub needed a step to get in. Grab bars in the showers were also needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this cabin!
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2023
You picked a fantastic cabin with Camp! It is absolutely beautiful on the inside, and you get to enjoy that fantastic view from the porch or the large windows inside. It is exciting that you all got to see bears, we love the bears up here. We would absolutely love to have you come and stay with us again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean cozy cabin that suited our needs and beyond! Would stay here again, considering thus us a new cabin. Can’t say enough of the views! Staff was super helpful when we couldn’t figure out the tv. We’ve stayed at many my laurel chalets over the past 30 years and this CAMP ranks at the top 3.
