My husband and I have been renovating our home and adding our beautiful Guest House to our property and we have finally finished after about 2 years. We run a full time laser tag and escape room experience inside The Maitland Gaol. In our very limited spare time we love to bike ride, renovate and enjoy our home.
Why they chose this property
We wanted to build something quite unique and offer a luxury rental accommodation that appeals to a select couples market. High ceilings, open plan and tastefully decorated makes an inviting, relaxing accomodation that our guests love. Craig loves to build (furniture maker) and I love to decorate and upcycle furniture in my spare time. We are super proud of our guesthouse and welcome you to stay and enjoy.
What makes this property unique
Open plan, very large guesthouse with all the luxury details you could want in an upmarket rental accomodation. Full size kitchen for your gourmet needs, a relaxing open plan living room, complete laundry, huge bathroom with high vaulted ceilings. Our guests comment mostly on the comfy king sized bed, for a great nights' rest. We have a 9 metre heated saltwater pool for your private use whilst staying at our property :)
We are located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Salamander Bay. Close to beaches, restaurants and shops.
Plus, we have also included an ESCAPE GAME called Patient Zero for our guests (we love escape rooms). This takes about 45 minutes to complete and is so much fun. All you have to do is ask to play and we can set you up for a great night in.

What is it?
An escape room game, also be known as a puzzle room or exit game is played by two or more players that work together to decipher clues, solve puzzles and accomplish tasks in order to ‘escape’ the room. This new craze will test your mind and abilities. It’s also a lot of fun!
Patient Zero
With our interpretation you will be required to ‘save humanity’ by discovering the secret of Patient Zero. You don’t actually need to escape anything here. Instead, pour a glass of wine and put your heads together and try to save the world!
This is a game based loosely on the pandemic where you will be involved in finding out what happened to the ‘Professor’, then carry on his vital research.
It’s a challenging, fun and innovative game designed to be accomplished in 45 to 60 minutes.
