The Little Mansion of Bayfield - Vacation in Style

Welcome to The Little Mansion of Bayfield, a family owned year-round cottage in the beautiful lakeside village of Bayfield, ON. The Little Mansion is a 3,000 sq ft 4-bedroom/2.5-bathroom cottage sprawling across a half acre of land providing you with a private oasis. This is the perfect cottage for family reunions and group gatherings, with all amenities a short walk away. We invite you to stay in our little slice of paradise that we’ve grown to love and make memories that will last a lifetime.

UPPER FLOOR
Get some restful shut-eye in the upper floor sleeping quarters which comfortably sleeps 10 people (12+ with air mattresses) with 4 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The Primary Bedroom has a king size bed, 3 large closets and en-suite with walk-in shower + double vanity sinks. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a queen size bed, large closet and a queen size air mattress (if needed). Bedroom 4 has 2 double beds and a large closet. There is also a bathroom with a shower + plenty of storage as well as a reading area overlooking the entryway where you can enjoy your morning coffee and a good book.

MAIN FLOOR
The main floor is where you’ll spend most of your time. The elegant Dining Room includes a large table that can comfortably accommodate 10 seats to enjoy home cooked meals as well as a vintage bar-cart to mix your specialty evening drinks. The cozy Living Room includes a wood-burning fireplace, reclining leather couches and a 65” Smart TV to unwind and enjoy all your favourite movies. The action-packed Games Room includes a classic poker table with convertible table-top to switch between playing cards or board games (all the classics are included) and a 50” Smart TV to catch the big game. The spacious Laundry Room includes a full-size washer + dryer and iron (so you don’t have to over-pack) and has plenty of storage with direct access to the backyard. There is also a Bathroom Powder Room for guests.

KITCHEN
The open concept Kitchen comes fully equipped with full-sized stainless-steel appliances including double-door fridge with freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy brunch on the double sized quartz kitchen island which can comfortably sit 6 or start your morning off with your favourite hot drink at the specialty Coffee Bar. All small appliances are at your fingertips including coffee machine, milk frother, coffee grinder, kettle, double toaster, blender, food processor, waffle maker etc.. Don’t worry about packing cutlery, dishes or glassware as all are provided for up to 10 people. Cooking utensils, serving trays as well as pots and pans are also provided.

BACKYARD
The large 500+ sq ft covered terrace is an entertainer’s paradise and provides protection from the elements during those rainy days. Enjoy grilling your favourite meals on the massive natural gas BBQ (grilling utensils provided) or take in great conversation by the fire table or outdoor sectional couch. Savor all your favourite meals on the large outdoor patio table or your morning coffee on the bistro table while looking into the wilderness and listening to the birds sing. At night, snuggle up by the large secluded natural fire pit area while making smores, sharing stories and taking in the starry sky. Looking to get competitive with your guests? Try out some of our outdoor lawn games including bocce ball, spike ball, croquet and cornhole or take the competition into the Garage where we have a ping pong table.

FRONT YARD
Large double sized driveway and garage which can accommodate ~10 cars and ideal for boaters who are looking for somewhere to park their boats / jet-skis for the weekend (Bayfield pier is only a short drive away). Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch while looking out at the mature tree lined yard which is out of a magazine.

NEARBY AMENITIES
Great location on a quiet street with walking distance to the beaches, parks, a grocery store, LCBO and the quaint historic Bayfield Main Street where you’ll find award winning restaurants, boutique shopping and art galleries showcasing local artists. If you’re a boater, you’re only a short drive to the Bayfield Pier where you can enjoy boating and fishing on beautiful Lake Huron.
