This property was exceptionally clean including all crockery and cutlery. It had the charm of a heritage building combined with the basic elements to make our stay a pleasant one. One bathroom with toilet within may be a consideration for some. The grounds are lovely with a great bbq entertaining area that would be excellent in the warmer months.

Cute historic cottage.

Comfortable stay but feel a RC Air con could be put in dining area to heat main area. Comb. Fire hard to get going and takes too long to heat up the area. Would have preferred a laundry and decent clothes line.

Cosy and historical.

The cottage has everything you need in generous supply. It's like living in a museum with a strong sense of history. I strongly recommend staying at the cottage. The only negatives are the TV reception was faulty and Netflix never worked. Cosy home with a marvellous garden.

The Bake House property was a excellent stay.

Very old world charm with the original Bakers oven in the house, very nice property with lots of trees and gardens, the lavender hedge at the front was lovely, we like old home so it suited us, we seen birds, bee's, rabbits, possums, lizards all on the property, every thing was flowering.

Visit to burra

A weekend visit to see family. Love reading the story of the cottage. The garden where a delight to stroll around and all the trees had labels which made it extra interesting.

Nice clean comfortable cottage

Nice and clean. Plenty of firewood supplied. No tv reception available when it rained, but that wasn’t a priority for us. Would definitely stay again.
