Newly renovated cosy cottage for a couple or families

Accommodation at Bright Highland Valley Cottage 6 provides a delightful, cosy two bedroom unit set in peaceful park-like grounds. The cottage has everything you would need in a holiday unit, bright, modern and comfortable.
Located only one kilometre from the centre of Bright you have everything you need close by plus more. Take a ten minute stroll to Bright’s restaurants and shops, adjacent to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and very close to the Heritage Canyon Walk along the Ovens River.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

OUTDOORS
Plenty to enjoy outdoors at these cottages. At the cottage itself you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on your own private veranda. In the warmer months, you can relax by the 10 meter, in-ground, salt water communal swimming pool while the kids go for a swim. Lockable bike shed for up to 4 bikes located in front of car space.

The interior is modern, and tastefully decorated. Some aspects of the exterior feel a little tired. The kitchen was well appointed. The check in process is poor. The keys were not available as described, and no one would answer phone calls. Eventually calls were answered. The system has to improve.

Really nice property, enjoyed our stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was ideal for us (a couple) and would also suit a couple with young children. Sharing with mates (e.g. four adults) might be a bit cosy. The lounge, and dining table (in an alcove surrounded by windows are really nice, and there's a well equipped kitchen suitable for cooking dinner. Main bedroom has a really comfortable king-size bed. In the bathroom (which is combined with a laundry) we would have liked a towel rail or some hooks to hang wet towels, but that's no biggie really.Key collection was seamless. We received our collection info and code the previous day and it's nice to know it was ready for us before we left home. It was spotlessly clean, and easy to find. We had no issues at all and had no need to interact with the property managers.Location is on the fringe of Bright, about 1km from centre of town, so people might choose to drive in, or it's a nice walk along the rail trail (accessed down the right-hand side of someone's garage) or the river-side walking track down the end of Frazers Lane across the main road. Apartment 6 is quite close to the main road (as is 7, alongside) but we were not bothered by traffic noise at all. Very light sleepers might prefer Apartments 2 to 5. There's a central lawn area where children can play safely, and a pool for summer. All up it's a really pleasant place in a nice spot.

Fabulous stay!
Such a nice little place with modern, practical amenities and furniture, great shower, comfy beds and toasty warm on cool nights. The dining room is sunny and bright (see what I did there) and it’s conveniently located, yet still quiet. Will gladly stay again.
