Beautiful property

We attendedca family wedding in Shawinigan. This property was clean, well equiped and gorgeous. We were able to have two families fit under one roof which was amazing. It rained most of the day we were there but the scenic views were gorgeous.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, le chalet est vraiment superbe, on y retrouve tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin! Les lits sont très confortables et que dire de l'emplacement qui est tout simplement magnifique !! L'hôte répond très rapidement lorsqu'on communique avec elle, c'est vraiment très apprécié. Magnifique séjour dans un chalet adapté pour notre groupe de 10 adultes. Le cachet de la rivière St-Maurice et toutes les commodités de cet emplacement sont une combinaison gagnante. Communication simple et facile avec l’hôte de ce chalet, Merci Janie ☺️

Belle vue sur la rivière!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au chalet à Grandes-Piles. La vue sur la rivière était superbe! Les hôtes ont été réactifs lors de l'arrivée. Le chalet était propre et bien organisé pour un groupe. L'espace feu était super. Toutefois, selon les photos nous avions hâte de pouvoir profiter des quais pour relaxer au bord de la rivière mais ils n'étaient pas installés ce qui était un peu décevant. Somme toute, le chalet était très bien et je recommande pour le terrain et la vue!

Lots of sleeping space for a large family. Everything you need in the kitchen including utensils, paper towel and garbage bags. Deck space is large and covered in case of rain

Endroit parfait pour une réunion familiale!

Lumineux, bien situé, spacieux et confortable chalet de style rustique offrant une vue splendide sur le rivière Saint-Maurice et sur de superbes couchers de soleil. Le chalet était d'une propreté impeccable à notre arrivée et est parfaitement équipé tant dans la cuisine que dans les salles de bains (serviettes, shampoing, papier de toilette, etc...), ce qui simplifie de beaucoup le séjour. Avec sa mezzanine, sa salle à manger un peu en retrait, ses 2 longs balcons et sa belle terrasse, le chalet propose plusieurs endroits où il est possible de travailler ou d'être au calme pendant que les autres s'amusent. Nous avons particulièrement aimé l'énorme îlot de la cuisine, lequel reçoit la lumière d'une grande fenêtre et d'une porte patio, et autour duquel pouvaient facilement s’asseoir les 8 personnes que nous étions. Nous y avons pris tous nos repas! Beau circuit de randonnée (longue et courte) dont le départ se situe à moins de 2km du chalet (Sentier National Père Jacques-Buteux). Bonne communication avec la propriétaire du chalet. En bref, nous avons loué le chalet pour une réunion familiale 3 générations et tout le monde a unanimement aimé l'endroit, que je recommande sans réserve.

Tout était parfait, même la météo. Seul hic, difficile de lire la température du four (en haut à droite, en tout petit, le haut des chiffres n'est pas allumé!) Janie a même laissé un ami dormir une nuit de plus gratis, il avait oublié des bagages et était revenu de Longueuil! PS: On a cassé un verre mais laissé 5$ sur le comptoir. Merci bcp! André

The property is huge and can accommodate many people. It is very nice for small kids because there are toys. It is also nice for teenagers and adults as there is a nice selection of society games available. The kitchen is well furnished and you can find all the equipment you need to cook. The view on the river is nice. There are many windows which brings plenty of light during the day. At night, the lightning is not very bright. The internet connection is fast and is provided through Starlink. I had to clean the satellite dish after a snow storm. We lost internet because of the snow build up on the dish.

Fin de semaine de rêve

Nous avons louer ce chalet pour un mariage dans la région. C'était extraordinaire. Mes amis ont amener leurs jeunes enfants et était TELLEMENT reconnaissant pour tout ce qu'il y avait a disposition. L'endroit est magnifique sur le bord de l'eau. Le chalet et le terrain très bien équipé. Un beau spot pour une semaine de vacances je dirais. Ah et que dire de la proprio. Très bonne communication, réponse rapide et très compréhensive. Merci pour tout :)

We enjoyed this chalet very much. Très bien située et équipé - la natation, kayak, SUP et des ballades se sont facilement faites depuis Point-aux-Trembles. Very comfy and relaxed with great views!

La maison est superbe, la vue et la région aussi. Il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin comme matériel, que ce soit pour la cuisine, la salle de bain ou même le plein air (luges, raquettes,...) Une super expérience !!!

Superbe séjour!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au chalet de Janie! Le chalet est très bien équipé pour accueillir de grands groupes avec des enfants de tous âges!
