Great Stay! It was my first time at Big Bear Lake!

The cabin was cozy and I loved the outdoor space it had for outdoor activities like making S'mores on the fire. The rooms were very well organized and the cabin was very spacious. It was my first time at Big Bear Lake and I had a positive experience! I definitely will be back again.

Met all expectations for a quick getaway with 3 kids plus dog

Lovely, quiet A-frame cabin with all the necessary amenities. Loved the big yard for our dog, nice hot water and space heaters for each room. Would have liked larger &/or more towels available. Travel with kids can be messy! Otherwise it was clean, ready ahead of schedule, and everything worked perfectly.

Nice, warm cabin

The cabin was clean and neat with a nice front glass view. My only complaint is that the pillows are terrible. Nonetheless, I’d come back again.

Great place to recharge. All the amenities were thought through. The Cool Cabins staff were excellent and readily available. Location was really quiet. Very clean. There is no AC but plenty of fans. to blowout the hot air. Overall a great experience and to disconnect from technology.

Property was at a nice location. Booking staff was awesome. Cabin was not clean. Bed sheets were stained with blood in one of the beds. The other bed had sheets with what looked like mold stains. Towels were old and also had stains.

Cabin not well stocked

The cabin was not stocked well with kitchen supplies, toilet paper, paper towels. We had to go into the office on 3 occasions for a bottle opener (which the one they gave us did not work), sheets, and toilet paper and paper towels. The employees in the office were not friendly.

Big Bear cabin retreat

Small cabin close to all areas of interest. There is no AC and the ceiling fan upstairs doesn't work. The host did provide plenty of plug in fans. The floors are dark so at first glance they seemed clean it wasn't until my children walked around barefoot after their bath that we realized the floors were filthy. The heat became unbearable during the day especially in the upstairs bedrooms. It forced us to spent most of our time outdoors or lounging downstairs waiting for the late, late evening hours. We didn't mind it too much because we used it as an opportunity for some serious family bonding time. It's a nice cabin that met our last minute trip needs. I would rent again but only in the winter months. Never ever again during the dog days of summer.
