Fantastic location!
This apartment is in the heart of historic Madrid. Walkable to Plaza Mayor and Retiro Park. It’s close to multiple metro stops and many stores. Minutes from great restaurants (Like Casa Toni-be there at opening!) and Plaza Mayor. The unit itself is on a lesser used side street, so less noise in general.
The style of the apartment is basic, but clean and well appointed, just what we needed with tired feet. I think the size is good for 2-3 adults or a small family . We were two adults and 2 small children, it was great. Internet was good. Windows did a good job of keeping sound out (for the busy-ness of the area). Plenty of kitchen basics provided (likely left by other renters). Fridge is large. Lots of little extras (like slippers and travel toothbrushes and a bowl of mints-nice touches).
