The weekend at this cottage was great. The cottage was very nice and clean, the area was beautiful and quiet, nobody too rowdy on the lake. A great spot if you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away!
Awesome little gem. House was clean, waterfront amazing and the hosts thought of everything! Thank you so much! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a little peace and quiet!
Awesome place. Nice little lake with bass fishing, host provides a few boats (kayaks and canoe). The place is much bigger than it looks in the photos. We will be back for sure!
We enjoyed our stay, and the cottage was very well equipped, clean and spacious. It's a great location for winter or summer escapes I'd say. Very peaceful and quiet. Beds were comfortable and the gas fireplace inside works well making it even cozier. Overall excellent and would return given the opportunity
This cottage was an amazing find- bigger than looks in the photos, next to a beautiful lake, amazing patio, beautifully decorated interiors. We were also surprised by how well it was stocked. The host responded to all our questions.
We’ve had an excellent stay and hope to come back
Upon arrival there was laundry in the laundry machines, the mop, vacuum and other cleaning supplies were left in the hallway. I work in the hotel industry and first impressions are the most important factor in driving loyalty. Unfortunately this first impression was not optimal. The property and lake were stunning. It truly is an oasis of tranquility and silence. No motorboats are allowed on the lake. Finally, we spent a full day without power or heat. A backup generator would have been incredibly helpful. If the property is properly maintained, I would have given it 5 stars.

Hi Alan, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay didn’t go as smoothly as we would have hoped. As previously discussed, we had graciously arranged an early check-in for your group as courtesy, and unfortunately that did create some confusion with our cleaners.
Regarding the power outage, losing power due to high winds is, unfortunately, not that uncommon in Muskoka, and this case was outside of our control. As a gesture of goodwill we did refund you for one of the nights, as we know how disruptive this situation can be. Thanks for understanding.
Wow!! What a beautiful property this is. Our stay was seamless from beginning to end. The host, Andrea, was extremely communicative if we needed anything or had questions. The kitchen was well stocked with spices for cooking etc., there were lots of games and outdoor activities on the water we very much enjoyed. Would highly recommend this spot in the summer it was such a nice retreat! Would definitely book again.
The view of Little Long Lake from property edge is stunning. We enjoyed our stay at the cottageand found the cottage inviting with good display and provisions required. We did have a challeng
well appointed for approprdistinct mark a strong contrast to the still water's of the Lake. We went for strolls down the main road g down the main road for a stroll. We all enjoyed this
The place was perfect. Right on the water. Beautifully appointed interior. Andrea has thought of everything. We had a fun time. Cooking. Playing games. Going on the water. The area is perfect too. We went for long walks. It was amazing. I will definitely book with her again.
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this cottage and really enjoyed our time there. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and the lake access made the trip especially enjoyable for our family. The kids loved spending time outdoors, using the canoe, and enjoying the water. One thing that really stood out was how well equipped the cottage was. The kitchen had everything we needed and much more than we expected, including plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, a rice cooker, air fryer, and Keurig coffee maker. The bedrooms were comfortable, and everyone slept very well. The kids especially loved the (NES) video game selection, which was a great bonus for downtime. There were also lots of board games available, which was great for family evenings. We noticed that some of the games more suitable for younger children were missing pieces, but we still found some great options to enjoy together.A couple of small things to note: the outdoor furniture is showing more wear than what appears in the listing photos, so the outdoor setup may not feel exactly the same as expected from the pictures. Also, if visiting in the summer, bring insect repellent — the Muskoka bugs are definitely part of the experience!Overall, this was one of the most complete short-term rentals we have stayed at. We had a fantastic family getaway and would happily recommend this cottage to families looking for a peaceful place to relax, enjoy the lake, and spend quality time together.
Perfect for our family. Quiet, nice lake. Cottage is beautiful. Well appointed. It has everything you need in a great location. Awesome place to relax.

The cottage was ok. Average. The price is high due to the area. The cottage was too isolating for us but that's a personal preference. The lake was beautiful.
