We are located in the highest elevated wine district in Australia. Activities include Ballandean , Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, The Pyramids, Balancing Heart, Bald Rock, Boonoo Boonoo, Lavender Farm, Christmas Tree Farm, Heavenly Chocolate, Cheese makers, the Jam Factory, Craft Brewers, Sutton’s Juice Factory, Girraween, Sundown NP, Washpool NP, the Rocky River, Strawberry picking, Wineries, Pub, Steam Train, Rail Trail and Deep Water bakery and brewery. North, south, east or west you will find attractions and scenery to enjoy. Hot air ballooning is also available contact Rosenhof Restaurant.

Wallangarra is a historic village in the heart of the golden triangle of Ballandean, Girraween and Tenterfield. Kangaroos do jump down the street here! The property is set on a half acre in the centre of town, you can walk to the pub, shop and railway museum and cafe. There are 2 great playgrounds nearby for the kids too! Relax in this unique space after a day of exploring the surrounding areas, wine tasting, dining, shopping and taking in nature. Furnishings and appointments throughout the home make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces with wood fire cooking, full kitchen with SMEG appliances, BBQ, gardens, cubby, and trampoline make for a fun stay. We are located on main street in a tiny town, you will hear some trucks passing through as typical in country towns. Please consider if this is an issue for you. We love just sitting on the sun soaked patio and watching the happenings go by. There is also a nice view to the granite hills beyond.

We are self check in and out. Bedroom 3 and 4 are interconnected so please consider if this is suitable for your needs. There is a door of course but you will need to walk through bedroom 4 to access bedroom 3.
