We really loved the cleanliness and location. The cabin is truly gorgeous. The problems we had were one room was unusable due to a putrid stench. The manager offered to come out, but since the kids decided to bunk together in the lowest level it was fine. We just kept the door closed and I stuffed towels at the bottom of the door so it didn’t leak into the master suite too much. The master bed is hard as a rock and messed with our backs, but if you like a hard mattress then it’s right up your alley. It would be nice to have a mattress pad for some comfort. Also, the kitchen is short on pots, pans, no cutting boards, and a grill scraper so we improvised because the grill was filthy. Also the stovetop was awful to cook on. If you want a house to cook in this is not your place.

The management has a problem with communication. Ck in @4 had text 3x and emailed never got replies to be able to get into the home. Text 2x a/c not working on 2nd floor. Took 2 days for them to get back with me on this problem. Management told me they had no control over when their emails went out 🤔. Then said my text re a/c wasn’t received until 4am almost 24 hours after I sent it 🤔. Needs to be addressed.
Overall our stay was nice -did find the house lacking in many regards that would limit coming bac - kitchen was poorly stocked with equipment or supplies for any real meals. stayes over the week of Thanksgiving and really were unable to make a Thankgiving dinner. Plent stocked with plates, utensils, and mugs, would have benefit from some serving spoons, basic supplies like an ice cream scoop, 13x9 dish, serving spoons, etc. Salt and pepper should have been at least provided. There were no hair dryers which was a huge problem and should have been noted in the listing as most people do not fly/travel with hair dryers, and then having to buy them for a house that sleeps 20 is difficult. There was also no iron. There were two small microwaves, one which didn’t work at all. We did lose hot water 3 of the days after one kids bath and two adult shower and didnt come back for many hours later. A few games or puzzles available would have been nice also. Of note, in the listing it should be boldly noted that the attached bedroom to the master ( akids room) has no way to exit other than through the master bed and bath. It was noted it was connected but had no note that kids would have to go through parents room to get in/out
On a positive note; house was spacious with lots of seats. Nice hot tub. Traffic terrible but not of owners fault. Pool table on sep floor also nice as was cozy fireplace.
House was as listed and very accommodating for our large family vacation. Beds were very comfortable. Close to Pigeon Forge and National Park. Amazing views. Would highly recommend this house. (Bring extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels. They start you off but if staying >2-3 days you’ll need to stock up)
There are not enough nice things to say about this property. We used this gorgeous spot as a meeting place during a wedding weekend for our entire extended family and we will most definitely be back. The view, the accommodations, and just the feeling we got staying here.. can’t be beat!
