Beautiful place. Definitely needs blinds in the kitchen as you can see everything up stairs from outside. I would definitely stay here again.

I spent a few days here to work on songwriting and just have a few days alone from Houston. The property is a dream come true, modern and comfortable, isolated with a ridiculous view, all 5 minutes from the main drag in Wimberley. I’ll
Be back often.

Hi Mike,
We're so happy to hear that! We can't wait to host y'all again!
It was very cozy, definitely the kind of place I was looking for. I didn’t like that the terrain of the drive way was so steep, narrow and very rocky. Besides that everything was beautiful, clean and private. Definitely worth the 7hour trip for intimate space.

The property was great and the cottage we stayed in was nice. The only two things we did not like was the low ceiling about the loft and the entrance to the property. It has a very steep entrance and makes it difficult to enter the driveway and leave. However we did use a more level path to the side of the driveway that made it easier to get in and out. Other than these two things the rental is great to stay in and we would stay there again. Close to downtown Wimberly and other places within the Hill country. We highly recommend this property to stay at.
Very clean. Well stocked. Love the IKEA
Bed room loft has a sharply sloping ceiling. DUCK down!
Add on prep and cleaning $$ fees make this pricier than the booking appears on web search
BOOK direct, Not thru VRBO to save a little.
My 4x4 helped negotiate the entry to the parking off of the (current) dirt road

Cute place! The patio was so loud from the traffic. Also, the bathroom was not clean. We didn’t want to use it. Hair was on the drain of the shower and the floors felt dirty. I left a finger swipe in a bathroom dusty corner for someone to see.

Cozy, quaint and clean and a great place for a romantic getaway. The porch, stone walk way, and outdoor seating made spending time outdoors enjoyable and relaxing. The amenities inside were amazing and it felt very comfortable and relaxing. The captured rainwater water system is a wonderful feature and the Brita water filter was a nice touch to ensure there were no issues with good tasting drinking water.
Fire pit was nice … although, the light from the light pole made enjoying the fire and watching stars a little challenging. At night when you would like some quiet the road noise was a little loud for what you would like in the country.
Privacy is questionable as the bed is elevated in the loft and there are windows without curtains that allow for those outside to see in.
We would definitely stay there again despite some minor things with road noise and needing some privacy in the sleeping area.

Thank you for your kind review! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our place, and we appreciate your enthusiasm. We would love to welcome you back for another stay. Your suggestions about privacy in the sleeping area are very much appreciated!!
Super nice and cozy retreat but didn't stay the second night.
All was great until we left the property on the first day to patronize the city. Came back to our property door wide open and our stuff rummaged through. We let the owners know right away and we were told we could stay another night we paid for or not. We did not. Still got charged for it. The wifi did not work there is NO stove on the property that worked properly. We bought groceries for the weekend but could not use them. Very cozy place to sleep but nowhere to unpack to. kinda unrealistic for a getaway if you expect the simple amenities such as a dresser or working appliances the shower is super small we are 5-6 tal and 150-180 lbs couldn't shower without banging elbows on shower wall and glass shower wall. Great AC.

Our overall stay was pleasant but with one minor exception.
Overall porperty was clean and inviting. We did have an issue with one of the wall mounted AC units. It was cold during our visit so we had set the units to heat however it got extremely hot with the unit closest to the bed. At around 3:30am we turned it off and attempted to turn it to AC to cool down the room but it would not come on. The bottom unit for the rest of the property was set to heat but was still veey cold downstairs. After 30 minutes and numerous attempts to get AC to kick on up stairs we still had no luck. In the end we ended up turning heater off downstairs and turned on ceiling fan to highest setting to cool us down up stairs.
The only con for this property is that large windows and double doors leading to patio DO NOT have and blinds or shades. The owners property is right next door and they park their vehicle to the side of the rented facility. So this means when they arrive or leave they must walk past the patio area which means that you anyone passing by can see you inside the property. It may be a good idea for them to put up some blinds or shades or better yet a dropdown shade at the end of patio which will allow passer bys to not see inside.
Also one last issue we encountered but wasn't a big deal because I always come prepared. The property listed that there was an iron and board however there was no iron or ironing board to be found anywhere. I always pack my iron as a back up in case the one where I stay dows not work. Again not a big deal but maybe update the listing.
