Feel instantly relaxed in this comfortable character filled ground floor apartment in the coastal hub of Henley Beach. Cruise at your own speed, unwinding in a tranquil space at the end of a busy day of sightseeing or catching up with loved ones. Just a minute's stroll to the glistening sands of Henley Beach and the ever-popular Henley Square, expect to enjoy long walks (maybe a dip if the weather permits), or sit with a glass of wine or coffee watching the sunsets at a beachfront cafe or bar.



The Space:

Welcome to “Seaview No.6”, a charmingly cute 1 bedroom apartment with 1920s character features and off-street carport parking. The apartment is newly renovated throughout and furnished with everything you need for a fantastic stay. It’s the perfect base for couples or single travellers looking for a central and convenient place from which to explore the beautiful Henley Beach area, and greater Adelaide.



The beach is just 200 metres away, so you can enjoy as much strolling, swimming and sunsets as you wish during your stay with us. The Henley Beach Hotel is equally close, so there will be no arguments about who needs to be the designated driver after a few quiet drinks!



In the evening, snuggle up on the cosy corner sofa next to the decorative fireplace (not for actual use), and settle in for some light reading, old school board games or alternatively binge watch your favourites on the large Smart TV. Enjoy the perfect temperature thanks to the brand new reverse cycle split system air conditioning located above the lounge.



You will sleep soundly in the quality Queen size bed, with a seasonal three in one quilt so you can choose your own optimal comfort. The bedroom also features a large mirrored robe and ensuite all in one bathroom with bathtub/rain shower combo. Off the side of the bedroom, french doors open out to an inviting little patio area where you can enjoy your plunger coffee in the morning sun.



Your own private external laundry room with washing machine and clothes airer, is an added bonus and ensures that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay with us, be it long or short. There is also a common access larger clothes line.



The apartment is ideally setup for 1-2 guests, with the option of a third guest utilising the double sofa bed (fee applies for linen to be supplied for sofa bed). For those guests travelling with an infant 2 years or under, we provide a travel portacot with linen, Toddler-sized plastic dinnerware set with cutlery, along with some colouring books and pencils.



Our generous guest welcome pack includes Tea (black & herbal), coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits & Museli. Staples such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, soap & toilet paper are also provided.

Guest Access:

The property is conveniently and thoughtfully set up for a easy self check-in. The entire apartment is all yours during your stay. Single carport and private laundry (for your use only) are located at the rear of the building, with easy and close access from the apartment.



The Neighborhood:

Henley Beach Road Precinct is just 150 metres away from the apartment, and features grocery shopping and restaurants. Henley Square Precinct is also very close, just 650 metres away, with plenty of local businesses to choose from, including retail, icecream, pubs, cafes & restaurants. Foodies are really spoiled for choice here, so reward yourself with a fabulous coffee, a glass of wine or a meal in one of the many interesting cafés or restaurants, ranging from casual to formal dining.



Getting Around:

You can walk to almost everything you need here. Buses are also easily accessible, with a stop on the main road just out front of the apartment block, you can catch the express bus into the city.



Other Things to Note:

Due to the bathroom being an ensuite, we do recommend the sofa bed option only be used for children only, simply because it’s not an ideal setup for more than 2 adults to share the space for this reason. Please advise us prior to your arrival if you require the use of the sofabed, an additional $25 fee applies for the extra linen and towels supplied.



The apartment building itself is an old girl, circa 1920s. Whilst she is a little run down to look at from the outside, please don't be misled by the exterior, as she makes up for her older appearance with the beautifully renovated interior and the fantastic location.



We supply enough toilet rolls and other consumables for the average stay, however please note for longer stays, and depending on your usage, you may need to purchase more.





For extended stays over 21+ nights, mid-stay servicing is required for the upkeep of the property. We will notify you when this is due to occur

Amazing location

Had a great stay meeting our new grandson. Property was perfect for a couple and such charm with high ceilings and stunning floorboards. Beautifully decorated fitting in with the beach feel of the area. Just across the road is Henley hotel which looks straight out to the water and a short walk down the road has you in downtown Henley. I’m yet to get used to everything closing so early compared to Sydney . We will be back 💙.

Overpriced and poorly maintained

Cosy and nicely refurbished, but the linen (bedsheets and placemats) were dirty. An old mechanism on the bedroom door was not working, and on day 2 the door clicked shut behind us, locking us in the bedroom overnight. The wardrobe had just 6 hangers for 2 people with clothes for 11 days. The management response to most of this was that no-one had complained before. We were finally offered clean sheets on day 6, long after we had washed them ourselves.

Contact with this guest was troublesome from the onset of booking. Our staff attended promptly and courteously to all of the correspondence from the guest including offering to have the cleaning team attend to remake beds with clean sheets which the guest refused from report received of issue. Whilst the coat hangers supplied are standard for all short stay properties our team were happy to remedy this request and attended the next day to provide the guest with 12 additional coat hangers as well as a complimentary bottle of wine. The door handle at the property was resolved quickly by the guest who again refused to allow our maintenance team to attend while they were at the property insisting that they did not want their stay interrupted. Our guests have loved the character of this property and we are disappointed this guest did not enjoy their stay. We would suggest hotel stays are more suited to this guests expectation with a 24 hour concierge service rather than the self catering stay that was booked.
