About this property

Currawong is a unique and spacious double A-frame house constructed from beautiful Tasmanian timbers. A number of French doors lead out to the gardens, balconies and patio, while superb polished timber floors add to the charm.
This 3 bedroom holiday house is set on a large corner block. Secure gates make the yard safe for small children and an established garden provides privacy.

The bedrooms are upstairs, each having their own private balcony. The spacious main bedroom has a split king bed, while the other two bedrooms have a comfortable queen bed in each. The bathroom has lots of character and features a corner spa bath.
Downstairs you will find a large well equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge and dining room.
The laundry and a second toilet are also located downstairs.
A gas barbecue and outdoor sitting areas are popular in summer.
It is a 10 minute walk down Oyster Bay Court and the waterfront track to Swanwick Beach.
This house is ideal for 3 couples or a family wanting to experience a unique Tassie house, in a quiet and pristine region.

We are delighted to host you and your beloved pet at our pet-friendly property. You are welcome to bring your furry friend, upon request and an extra fee arranged prior to your arrival. Please note that our premises may not be entirely fenced. We kindly ask our guests to be vigilant in looking after their dogs and ensuring they remain within the boundaries of the property. Over all average. Arrived late in the evening. No running water until the next day. States pet friendly though property is not secure for small to medium dogs. Easy walking distance to the beach. Gorgeous beach enjoyed by my 4 legged friend and I . Though would prefer a sea view as well next time.

Beautiful holiday cottage

We had a great time! Its a lovely cottage beautifully decorated. Evverthing is very clean with full facilities for a cosy stay. The hotwater in the bathroom wasnt working on our arrival but got fix promptly after communication. The toilet upstairs doesnt flush well. But overall its a wonderful place for a holiday!

Relaxing holiday

The house was nice. Lacking little things such as nowhere to dry clothes when raining. No sponges in the kitchen to clean. Taps leaking so the water pump ran all the time.
