We stayed in this guesthouse and found it very nice. Veey clean, spacious, and quiet. I wasn't aware that the owners would be on site (in the main house) but it still felt private.
The accommodation is well presented and clean. Great location, 5 minutes to Mittagong.
My only suggestion is additional comfy seating in the lounge area so everyone can sit together.
We were visiting from New Zealand for a wedding and didn’t know the region or what to expect.
We were so fortunate to book this property as the place was perfect for both convenience to the surrounding area, as well as the quality of the accommodation itself. Really enjoyed our stay and was made incredibly easy by a very welcoming host.
No hesitation to stay here again!
Loved our stay here. We brought our little dog along and she had the best time in the beautiful garden. They have 2 little doggies which are extremely well trained and very friendly.
The house we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. They provided all the basic amenities required. Only thing is the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. But if you have only 4 guests, the beds are great.
At night, we were lucky to have a clear sky. So we star gazed in the backyard. The home owner kindly came out to bring us some outdoor chairs to sit on and enjoy our night.
Will definitely come back again if we're visiting in the area!
Charming Stay in the Southern Highlands: Comfortable, Dog-Friendly, and Full of Activities
Not having been to the Southern Highlands before, we were pleasantly surprised. From the beginning of our stay to the end, we were made to feel right at home. We had a wonderful time exploring, and there was so much to do and see just a stone’s throw away from the house.
We brought our dog, who also had a fantastic time. There were lots of walking and mountain biking tracks to wear him out, and he loved mooching around the large garden.
The accommodation was warm even on the iciest, coldest days, and the beds were incredibly comfortable – we all had great sleeps (one of our key priorities when we go on holiday). The house was pristine, with everything lovely, new, and clean in the most gorgeous setting.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the host was very accommodating.
The only thing we didn’t realize was that there was no oven or stovetop to prepare our dinner. However, this didn’t matter greatly as we found some wonderful places to eat nearby. We did use the microwave to heat up things we had brought.
We couldn’t speak more highly of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
I have terminal cancer and my husband and I stay in Bowral every year for the Bowral classic. Since it is my last time , my sisters and 2 sons decided to come. Lucky I found this place on Stayz. It was clean, comfortable, and in a very nice quiet suburb. I enquired about heating as I was concerned since I am on chemo and we were provided with a heater. The family loved the place. The only thing is that my boys forgot to pack shampoo and body gel, there were no small packs at the place, and had to borrow from aunties… Overall, very nice stay and great place to be.
A great place to use as a base to explore the highlands. Beds were really comfortable and the place was immaculate. A short drive to Mittagong. The place is almost brand new and is located in a new housing subdivision. There is also the family dog that likes to visit.
Excellent condition (new), very clean with comfortable furnishings. All rooms are very spacious. A quiet location with a small garden area which can be enjoyed by guests.
